¹ FI eti si ọ̀rọ mi, Oluwa, kiyesi aroye mi.

¹ Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

² Fi eti si ohùn ẹkún mi, Ọba mi, ati Ọlọrun mi: nitoripe ọdọ rẹ li emi o ma gbadura si.

² Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

³ Ohùn mi ni iwọ o gbọ́ li owurọ, Oluwa, li owurọ li emi o gbà adura mi si ọ, emi o si ma wòke.

³ My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

⁴ Nitori ti iwọ kì iṣe Ọlọrun ti iṣe inu-didùn si ìwa buburu: bẹ̃ni ibi kò le ba ọ gbe.

⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

⁵ Awọn agberaga kì yio le duro niwaju rẹ: iwọ korira gbogbo awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ.

⁵ The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

⁶ Iwọ o pa awọn ti nṣe eke run; Oluwa yio korira awọn ẹni-ẹ̀jẹ ati ẹni-ẹ̀tan.

⁶ Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

⁷ Ṣugbọn bi o ṣe ti emi, emi o wá sinu ile rẹ li ọ̀pọlọpọ ãnu rẹ: ninu ẹ̀ru rẹ li emi o tẹriba si iha tempili mimọ́ rẹ.

⁷ But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

⁸ Tọ́ mi, Oluwa, ninu ododo rẹ, nitori awọn ọta mi: mu ọ̀na rẹ tọ́ tàra niwaju mi.

⁸ Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

⁹ Nitori ti otitọ kan kò si li ẹnu ẹnikẹni wọn; ikakika ni iha inu wọn; isa-okú ti o ṣi silẹ li ọfun wọn; ahọn wọn ni nwọn fi npọ́nni.

⁹ For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

¹⁰ Iwọ da wọn lẹbi, Ọlọrun; ki nwọn ki o ti ipa ìmọ ara wọn ṣubu; já wọn kuro nitori ọ̀pọlọpọ irekọja wọn; nitori ti nwọn ti ṣọ̀tẹ si ọ.

¹⁰ Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

¹¹ Nigbana ni gbogbo awọn ti ngbẹkẹle ọ yio yọ̀; lai nwọn o ma ho fun ayọ̀, nitoriti iwọ dabobo wọn: ati awọn ti o fẹ orukọ rẹ pẹlu yio ma yọ̀ ninu rẹ.

¹¹ But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

¹² Nitori iwọ, Oluwa, ni yio bukún fun olododo; oju-rere ni iwọ o fi yi i ka bi asà.

¹² For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
