¹ IWỌ, Oluwa, apata mi li emi o kigbe pè, máṣe dakẹ si mi; bi iwọ ba dakẹ si mi, emi o dabi awọn ti o lọ sinu ihò.

¹ Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

² Gbọ́ ohùn ẹ̀bẹ mi, nigbati mo ba nkigbe pè ọ, nigbati mo ba gbé ọwọ mi soke siha ibi-mimọ́ jùlọ rẹ.

² Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

³ Máṣe fà mi lọ pẹlu awọn enia buburu, ati pẹlu awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ, ti nsọ̀rọ alafia si aladugbo wọn, ṣugbọn ìwa-ìka mbẹ̀ li ọkàn wọn.

³ Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

⁴ Fi fun wọn gẹgẹ bi iṣe wọn, ati gẹgẹ bi ìwa buburu ete wọn, fi fun wọn nipa iṣẹ ọwọ wọn, fi ère wọn fun wọn.

⁴ Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

⁵ Nitori ti nwọn kò kà iṣẹ Oluwa si, tabi iṣẹ ọwọ rẹ̀; on o run wọn, kì yio si gbé wọn ró.

⁵ Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

⁶ Olubukún ni Oluwa, nitoriti o ti gbọ́ ohùn ẹ̀bẹ mi.

⁶ Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

⁷ Oluwa li agbara ati asà mi; on li aiya mi gbẹkẹle, a si nràn mi lọwọ: nitorina inu mi dùn jọjọ: emi o si ma fi orin mi yìn i.

⁷ The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

⁸ Oluwa li agbara wọn, on si li agbara igbala ẹni-ororo rẹ̀.

⁸ The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

⁹ Gbà awọn enia rẹ là, ki o si busi ilẹ-ini rẹ: ma bọ́ wọn pẹlu, ki o si ma gbé wọn leke lailai.

⁹ Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
