1 ỌLỌRUN mi, Ọlọrun mi, ẽṣe ti iwọ fi kọ̀ mi silẹ? ti iwọ si jina si igbala mi, ati si ohùn igbe mi?

1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

2 Ọlọrun mi, emi nkigbe li ọsan, ṣugbọn iwọ kò dahùn: ati ni igba oru emi kò dakẹ.

2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3 Ṣugbọn mimọ́ ni Iwọ, ẹniti o tẹ̀ iyìn Israeli do.

3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4 Awọn baba wa gbẹkẹle ọ: nwọn gbẹkẹle, iwọ si gbà wọn.

4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5 Nwọn kigbe pè ọ, a si gbà wọn: nwọn gbẹkẹle ọ, nwọn kò si dãmu.

5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6 Ṣugbọn kòkoro li emi, kì isi iṣe enia; ẹ̀gan awọn enia, ati ẹlẹya awọn enia.

6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7 Gbogbo awọn ti o ri mi nfi mi rẹrin ẹlẹya: nwọn nyọ ṣuti ète wọn, nwọn nmì ori pe,

7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying,

8 Jẹ́ ki o gbẹkẹle Oluwa, on o gbà a là; jẹ ki o gbà a là nitori inu rẹ̀ dùn si i.

8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9 Ṣugbọn iwọ li ẹniti o mu mi jade lati inu wá: iwọ li o mu mi wà li ailewu, nigbati mo rọ̀ mọ́ ọmu iya mi.

9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10 Iwọ li a ti fi mi le lọwọ lati inu iya mi wá: iwọ li Ọlọrun mi lati inu iya mi wá.

10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11 Máṣe jina si mi; nitori ti iyọnu sunmọ etile; nitoriti kò si oluranlọwọ.

11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12 Akọ-malu pipọ̀ li o yi mi ka: malu Baṣani ti o lagbara rọ̀gba yi mi ka.

12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13 Nwọn yà ẹnu wọn si mi, bi kiniun ti ndọdẹ kiri, ti nké ramuramu.

13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14 A tú mi danu bi omi, gbogbo egungun mi si yẹ̀ lori ike: ọkàn mi dabi ida; o yọ́ larin inu mi.

14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15 Agbara mi di gbigbẹ bi apãdi: ahọn mi si lẹ̀ mọ́ mi li ẹrẹkẹ; iwọ o mu mi dubulẹ ninu erupẹ ikú.

15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16 Nitoriti awọn aja yi mi ka: ijọ awọn enia buburu ti ká mi mọ́: nwọn lu mi li ọwọ, nwọn si lu mi li ẹsẹ.

16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17 Mo le kaye gbogbo egungun mi: nwọn tẹjumọ mi; nwọn nwò mi sùn.

17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

18 Nwọn pín aṣọ mi fun ara wọn, nwọn si ṣẹ́ keké le aṣọ-ileke mi.

18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19 Ṣugbọn iwọ máṣe jina si mi, Oluwa: agbara mi, yara lati ràn mi lọwọ.

19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20 Gbà ọkàn mi lọwọ idà; ẹni mi kanna lọwọ agbara aja nì.

20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

21 Gbà mi kuro li ẹnu kiniun nì; ki iwọ ki o si gbohùn mi lati ibi iwo awọn agbanrere.

21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22 Emi o sọ̀rọ orukọ rẹ fun awọn arakunrin mi: li awujọ ijọ li emi o ma yìn ọ,

22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23 Ẹnyin ti o bẹ̀ru Oluwa, ẹ yìn i; gbogbo ẹnyin iru-ọmọ Jakobu, ẹ yìn i logo: ki ẹ si ma bẹ̀ru rẹ̀ gidigidi, gbogbo ẹnyin irú-ọmọ Israeli.

23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24 Nitoriti kò kẹgan, bẹ̃ni kò korira ipọnju awọn olupọnju; bẹ̃ni kò pa oju rẹ̀ mọ́ kuro lara rẹ̀; ṣugbọn nigbati o kigbe pè e, o gbọ́.

24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25 Nipa tirẹ ni iyìn mi yio wà ninu ajọ nla, emi o san ẹjẹ́ mi niwaju awọn ti o bẹ̀ru rẹ̀.

25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26 Awọn olupọnju yio jẹ, yio tẹ́ wọn lọrun: awọn ti nwá Oluwa yio yìn i: ọkàn nyin yio wà lailai:

26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27 Gbogbo opin aiye ni yio ranti, nwọn o si yipada si Oluwa: ati gbogbo ibatan orilẹ-ède ni yio wolẹ-sìn niwaju rẹ̀.

27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

28 Nitori ijọba ni ti Oluwa; on si ni Bãlẹ ninu awọn orilẹ-ède.

28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30 Iru kan yio ma sìn i; a o si kà a ni iran kan fun Oluwa.

30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31 Nwọn o wá, nwọn o si ma sọ̀rọ ododo rẹ̀ fun awọn enia kan ti a o bí, pe, on li o ṣe eyi.

31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
