¹ Ẹ fi iyìn fun Oluwa. Ẹ kọ orin titun si Oluwa, ati iyìn rẹ̀ ninu ijọ awọn enia-mimọ́.

¹ Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

² Jẹ ki Israeli ki o yọ̀ si ẹniti o dá a; jẹ ki awọn ọmọ Sioni ki o kún fun ayọ̀ si Ọba wọn.

² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

³ Jẹ ki nwọn ki o yìn orukọ rẹ̀ ninu ijó: jẹ ki nwọn ki o fi ìlu ati dùru kọrin iyìn si i.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

⁴ Nitori ti Oluwa ṣe inudidùn si awọn enia rẹ̀; yio fi igbala ṣe awọn onirẹlẹ li ẹwà.

⁴ For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

⁵ Jẹ ki awọn enia mimọ́ ki o kún fun ayọ̀ ninu ogo; ki nwọn ki o mã kọrin kikan lori ẹni wọn.

⁵ Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

⁶ Ki iyìn Ọlọrun ki o wà li ẹnu wọn, ati idà oloju meji li ọwọ wọn;

⁶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

⁷ Lati san ẹsan lara awọn keferi, ati ijiya lara awọn enia.

⁷ To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

⁸ Lati fi ẹ̀wọn dè awọn ọba wọn, ati lati fi ṣẹkẹṣẹkẹ irin dè awọn ọlọ̀tọ wọn;

⁸ To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

⁹ Lati ṣe idajọ wọn, ti a ti kọwe rẹ̀, ọlá yi ni gbogbo enia mimọ́ rẹ̀ ni. Ẹ fi iyìn fun Oluwa.

⁹ To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
