¹ Ẹ fi iyìn fun Oluwa: nitori ohun rere ni lati ma kọ orin iyìn si Ọlọrun wa: nitori ti o dùn, iyìn si yẹ.

¹ Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

² Oluwa li o kọ́ Jerusalemu: on li o kó awọn ifọnkalẹ Israeli jọ.

² The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

³ O mu awọn onirora aiya lara da: o di ọgbẹ wọn:

³ He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

⁴ O ka iye awọn ìrawọ; o si sọ gbogbo wọn li orukọ.

⁴ He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

⁵ Oluwa wa tobi, ati alagbara nla: oye rẹ̀ kò li opin.

⁵ Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

⁶ Oluwa gbé awọn onirẹlẹ soke: o rẹ̀ awọn enia buburu si ilẹyilẹ.

⁶ The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

⁷ Ẹ fi ọpẹ kọrin si Oluwa; kọrin iyìn si Ọlọrun wa lara duru:

⁷ Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

⁸ Ẹniti o fi awọsanma bò oju ọrun, ẹniti o pèse òjo fun ilẹ, ti o mu koriko dàgba lori awọn òke nla.

⁸ Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

⁹ O fi onjẹ ẹranko fun u ati fun ọmọ iwò ti ndún.

⁹ He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

¹⁰ Kò ṣe inudidùn si agbara ẹṣin: kò ṣe inudidùn si ẹsẹ ọkunrin.

¹⁰ He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

¹¹ Oluwa nṣe inudidùn si awọn ti o bẹ̀ru rẹ̀, si awọn ti nṣe ireti ãnu rẹ̀.

¹¹ The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

¹² Yìn Oluwa, iwọ Jerusalemu; yìn Ọlọrun rẹ, iwọ Sioni.

¹² Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

¹³ Nitori ti o ti mu ọpá-idabu ẹnu-bode rẹ le; o ti busi i fun awọn ọmọ rẹ ninu rẹ.

¹³ For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

¹⁴ O fi alafia ṣe àgbegbe rẹ, o si fi alikama didara-jù kún ọ.

¹⁴ He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

¹⁵ O rán aṣẹ rẹ̀ jade wá si aiye; ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ sure tete.

¹⁵ He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

¹⁶ O fi òjo-didì funni bi irun-agutan, o si fún ìri-didì ká bi ẽrú.

¹⁶ He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

¹⁷ O dà omi didì rẹ̀ bi òkele; tali o le duro niwaju otutu rẹ̀.

¹⁷ He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

¹⁸ O rán ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ jade, o si mu wọn yọ́; o mu afẹfẹ rẹ̀ fẹ, omi si nṣàn.

¹⁸ He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

¹⁹ O fi ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ hàn fun Jakobu, aṣẹ rẹ̀ ati idajọ rẹ̀ fun Israeli.

¹⁹ He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

²⁰ Kò ba orilẹ-ède kan ṣe bẹ̃ ri; bi o si ṣe ti idajọ rẹ̀ ni, nwọn kò mọ̀ wọn. Ẹ fi iyìn fun Oluwa.

²⁰ He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
