¹ INU mi dùn nigbati nwọn wi fun mi pe, Ẹ jẹ ki a lọ si ile Oluwa.

¹ I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

² Ẹsẹ wa yio duro ni ẹnu-bode rẹ, iwọ Jerusalemu.

² Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

³ Jerusalemu, iwọ ti a kọ́ bi ilu ti o fi ara mọra pọ̀ ṣọkan.

³ Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

⁴ Nibiti awọn ẹ̀ya ima gòke lọ, awọn ẹ̀ya Oluwa, ẹri fun Israeli, lati ma dupẹ fun orukọ Oluwa.

⁴ Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

⁵ Nitori ibẹ li a gbé itẹ́ idajọ kalẹ, awọn itẹ́ ile Dafidi.

⁵ For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

⁶ Gbadura fun alafia Jerusalemu: awọn ti o fẹ ọ yio ṣe rere.

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

⁷ Ki alafia ki o wà ninu odi rẹ, ati ire ninu ãfin rẹ.

⁷ Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

⁸ Nitori awọn arakunrin ati awọn ẹgbẹ mi, emi o wi nisisiyi pe, Ki alafia ki o wà ninu rẹ!

⁸ For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

⁹ Nitori ile Oluwa Ọlọrun wa, emi o ma wá ire rẹ.

⁹ Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
