¹ EMI fẹ Oluwa nitori ti o gbọ́ ohùn mi ati ẹ̀bẹ mi.

¹ I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

² Nitori ti o dẹ eti rẹ̀ si mi, nitorina li emi o ma kepè e niwọn ọjọ mi.

² Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

³ Ikẹkùn ikú yi mi ka, ati irora isà-òkú di mi mu; mo ri iyọnu ati ikãnu.

³ The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

⁴ Nigbana ni mo kepè orukọ Oluwa; Oluwa, emi bẹ̀ ọ, gbà ọkàn mi.

⁴ Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

⁵ Olore-ọfẹ li Oluwa, ati olododo; nitõtọ, alãnu li Ọlọrun wa.

⁵ Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

⁶ Oluwa pa awọn alaimọ̀kan mọ́: a rẹ̀ mi silẹ tan, o si ràn mi lọwọ.

⁶ The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

⁷ Pada si ibi isimi rẹ, iwọ ọkàn mi; nitori ti Oluwa ṣe é lọ́pọlọpọ fun ọ.

⁷ Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁸ Nitori ti iwọ gbà ọkàn mi lọwọ ikú, oju mi lọwọ omije, ati ẹsẹ mi lọwọ iṣubu.

⁸ For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁹ Emi o ma rìn niwaju Oluwa ni ilẹ alãye.

⁹ I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

¹⁰ Emi gbagbọ́, nitorina li emi ṣe sọ: mo ri ipọnju gidigidi.

¹⁰ I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

¹¹ Mo wi ni iyara mi pe: Eke ni gbogbo enia.

¹¹ I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹² Kili emi o san fun Oluwa nitori gbogbo ore rẹ̀ si mi?

¹² What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

¹³ Emi o mu ago igbala, emi o si ma kepè orukọ Oluwa.

¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁴ Emi o san ileri ifẹ mi fun Oluwa, nitõtọ li oju gbogbo awọn enia rẹ̀.

¹⁴ I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁵ Iyebiye ni ikú awọn ayanfẹ rẹ̀ li oju Oluwa.

¹⁵ Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

¹⁶ Oluwa nitõtọ iranṣẹ rẹ li emi; iranṣẹ rẹ̀ li emi, ati ọmọ iranṣẹ-birin rẹ: iwọ ti tú ìde mi.

¹⁶ O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁷ Emi o ru ẹbọ ọpẹ si ọ, emi o ma ke pè orukọ Oluwa.

¹⁷ I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁸ Emi o san ileri ifẹ mi fun Oluwa, nitõtọ li oju gbogbo awọn enia rẹ̀.

¹⁸ I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

¹⁹ Ninu àgbala ile Oluwa, li arin rẹ, iwọ Jerusalemu. Ẹ yìn Oluwa.

¹⁹ In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
