1 SA kiye si i, ọjọ na mbọ̀, ti yio ma jó bi iná ileru; ati gbogbo awọn agberaga, ati gbogbo awọn oluṣe buburu yio dabi akékù koriko: ọjọ na ti mbọ̀ yio si jo wọn run, li Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun wi, ti kì yio fi kù gbòngbo tabi ẹka fun wọn.
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 Ṣugbọn Õrùn ododo yio là, ti on ti imularada ni iyẹ́-apá rẹ̀, fun ẹnyin ti o bẹ̀ru orukọ mi; ẹnyin o si jade lọ, ẹnyin o si ma dagba bi awọn ẹgbọrọ malu inu agbo.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 Ẹnyin o si tẹ̀ awọn enia buburu mọlẹ: nitori nwọn o jasi ẽrú labẹ atẹlẹsẹ̀ nyin, li ọjọ na ti emi o dá, li Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun wi.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
4 Ẹ ranti ofin Mose iranṣẹ mi, eyi ti mo pa li aṣẹ fun u ni Horebu fun gbogbo Israeli, pẹlu aṣẹ ati idajọ wọnni.
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 Wò o, emi o rán woli Elijah si nyin, ki ọjọ nla-nlà Oluwa, ati ọjọ ti o li ẹ̀ru to de:
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 Yio si pa ọkàn awọn baba dà si ti awọn ọmọ, ati ọkàn awọn ọmọ si ti awọn baba wọn, ki emi ki o má ba wá fi aiye gégun.
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
