1 LẸHIN nkan wọnyi, Oluwa si yàn adọrin ọmọ-ẹhin miran pẹlu, o si rán wọn ni mejimeji lọ ṣaju rẹ̀, si gbogbo ilu ati ibi ti on tikararẹ̀ yio gbé de.

1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

2 O si wi fun wọn pe, Ikore pọ̀, ṣugbọn awọn alagbaṣe ko to nkan: nitorina ẹ bẹ̀ Oluwa ikore, ki o le rán awọn alagbaṣe sinu ikore rẹ̀.

2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

3 Ẹ mu ọ̀na nyin pọ̀n: sa wò o, emi rán nyin lọ bi ọdọ-agutan sãrin ikõkò. 4. Ẹ máṣe mu asuwọn, ẹ máṣe mu apò, tabi bàta: ẹ má si ṣe kí ẹnikẹni li ọ̀na.

3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

4

4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

5 Ni ilekile ti ẹnyin ba wọ̀, ki ẹ kọ́ wipe, Alafia fun ile yi.

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

6 Bi ọmọ alafia ba si mbẹ nibẹ̀, alafia nyin yio bà le e: ṣugbọn bi kò ba si, yio tún pada sọdọ nyin.

6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

7 Ni ile kanna ni ki ẹnyin ki o si gbé, ki ẹ mã jẹ, ki ẹ si mã mu ohunkohun ti nwọn ba fifun nyin; nitori ọ̀ya alagbaṣe tọ́ si i. Ẹ maṣe ṣi lati ile de ile.

7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

8 Ati ni ilukilu ti ẹnyin ba wọ̀, ti nwọn ba si gbà nyin, ẹ jẹ ohunkohun ti a ba gbé kà iwaju nyin:

8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

9 Ẹ si mu awọn alaisan ti mbẹ ninu rẹ̀ larada, ki ẹ si wi fun wọn pe, Ijọba Ọlọrun kù dẹ̀dẹ si nyin.

9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

10 Ṣugbọn ni ilukilu ti ẹnyin ba si wọ̀, ti nwọn kò ba si gbà nyin, nigbati ẹnyin ba si jade si igboro ilu na, ki ẹnyin ki o si wipe,

10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

11 Ekuru iyekuru ilu nyin ti o kù si wa lara, a gbọn ọ silẹ fun nyin: ṣugbọn ẹ mọ̀ eyi pe, ijọba Ọlọrun kù dẹ̀dẹ si nyin.

11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

12 Ṣugbọn mo wi fun nyin, yio san fun Sodomu ni ijọ na, jù fun ilu na lọ.

12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

13 Egbé ni fun iwọ, Korasini! Egbé ni fun iwọ, Betsaida! nitori ibaṣepe a ti ṣe iṣẹ agbara ti a ṣe ninu nyin, ni Tire on Sidoni, nwọn iba ti ronupiwada lailai, nwọn iba si joko ninu aṣọ ọ̀fọ ati ninu ẽru.

13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

14 Ṣugbọn yio san fun Tire on Sidoni nigba idajọ jù fun ẹnyin lọ.

14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

15 Ati iwọ, Kapernaumu, a o ha gbe ọ ga de oke ọrun? a o rẹ̀ ọ silẹ de ipo-oku.

15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

16 Ẹniti o ba gbọ́ ti nyin, o gbọ́ ti emi: ẹniti o ba si kọ̀ nyin, o kọ̀ mi; ẹniti o ba si kọ̀ mi, o kọ̀ ẹniti o rán mi.

16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

17 Awọn adọrin na si fi ayọ̀ pada, wipe, Oluwa, awọn ẹmi èṣu tilẹ foribalẹ fun wa li orukọ rẹ.

17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

18 O si wi fun wọn pe, Emi ri Satani ṣubu bi manamana lati ọrun wá.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Kiyesi i, emi fun nyin li aṣẹ lati tẹ̀ ejò ati akẽkẽ mọlẹ, ati lori gbogbo agbara ọtá: kò si si ohunkan bi o ti wù ki o ṣe, ti yio pa-nyin-lara.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Ṣugbọn ki ẹ máṣe yọ̀ si eyi, pe, awọn ẹmi nforibalẹ fun nyin; ṣugbọn ẹ kuku yọ̀, pe, a kọwe orukọ nyin li ọrun.

20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

21 Ni wakati kanna Jesu yọ̀ ninu Ẹmi Mimọ́ o si wipe, Mo dupẹ lọwọ rẹ, Baba, Oluwa ọrun on aiye, pe, iwọ pa nkan wọnyi mọ́ kuro lọdọ awọn ọlọ́gbọn ati amoye, iwọ si fi wọn hàn fun awọn ọmọ-ọwọ: bẹ̃ni, Baba, bẹ̃li o sá yẹ li oju rẹ.

21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

22 Ohun gbogbo li a fifun mi lati ọdọ Baba mi wá: kò si si ẹniti o mọ̀ ẹniti Ọmọ iṣe, bikoṣe Baba; ati ẹniti Baba iṣe, bikoṣe Ọmọ, ati ẹnikẹni ti o ba si wù Ọmọ lati fi i hàn fun.

22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

23 O si yipada si awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ li apakan, o ni, Ibukún ni fun ojú ti nri ohun ti ẹnyin nri:

23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:

24 Nitori mo wi fun nyin, Woli ati ọba pipọ li o nfẹ lati ri ohun ti ẹnyin nri, nwọn kò si ri wọn, ati lati gbọ ohun ti ẹnyin ngbọ́, nwọn ko si gbọ́ wọn,

24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

25 Si kiyesi i, amofin kan dide, o ndán a wò, o ni, Olukọni, kili emi o ṣe ki emi ki o le jogún iyè ainipẹkun?

25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26 O si bi i pe, Kili a kọ sinu iwe ofin? bi iwọ ti kà a?

26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27 O si dahùn wipe, Ki iwọ ki o fi gbogbo àiya rẹ, ati gbogbo ọkàn rẹ, ati gbogbo agbara rẹ, ati gbogbo inu rẹ fẹ Oluwa Ọlọrun rẹ; ati ẹnikeji rẹ bi ara rẹ.

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28 O si wi fun u pe, Iwọ dahùn rere: ṣe eyi, iwọ o si yè.

28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

29 Ṣugbọn o nfẹ lati dá ara rẹ̀ lare, o wi fun Jesu pe, Tani ha si li ẹnikeji mi?

29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

30 Jesu si dahùn o wipe, ọkunrin kan nti Jerusalemu sọkalẹ lọ si Jeriko, o si bọ si ọwọ́ awọn ọlọṣà, ti nwọn gbà a li aṣọ, nwọn ṣá a lọgbẹ, nwọn si fi i silẹ lọ li aipa li apatan.

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 Ni alabapade, alufa kan si nsọkalẹ lọ lọna na: nigbati o si ri i, o kọja lọ niha keji.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 Bẹ̃na si ni ọmọ Lefi kan pẹlu, nigbati o de ibẹ̀, ti o si ri i, o kọja lọ niha keji.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 Ṣugbọn ara Samaria kan, bi o ti nrè àjo, o de ibi ti o gbé wà: nigbati o si ri i, ãnu ṣe e,

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 O si tọ̀ ọ lọ, o si dì i lọgbẹ, o da oróro on ọti-waini si i, o si gbé e le ori ẹranko ti on tikalarẹ̀, o si mu u wá si ile-èro, o si nṣe itọju rẹ̀.

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 Nigbati o si lọ ni ijọ keji, o fi owo idẹ meji fun olori ile-ero, o si wi fun u pe, Mã tọju rẹ̀; ohunkohun ti iwọ ba si ná kun u, nigbati mo ba pada de, emi ó san a fun ọ.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36 Ninu awọn mẹtẹta wọnyi, tani iwọ rò pe iṣe ẹnikeji ẹniti o bọ si ọwọ́ awọn ọlọṣà?

36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37 O si dahùn wipe, Ẹniti o ṣãnu fun u ni. Jesu si wi fun u pe, Lọ, ki iwọ ki o si ṣe bẹ̃ gẹgẹ.

37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

38 O si ṣe, bi nwọn ti nlọ, o wọ̀ iletò kan: obinrin kan ti a npè ni Marta si gbà a si ile rẹ̀.

38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

39 O si ni arabinrin kan ti a npè ni Maria, ti o si joko lẹba ẹsẹ Jesu, ti o ngbọ́ ọ̀rọ rẹ̀.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

40 Ṣugbọn Marta nṣe iyọnu ohun pupọ, o si tọ̀ ọ wá, o ni, Oluwa, iwọ kò kuku ṣu si i ti arabinrin mi fi mi silẹ lati mã nikan ṣe aisimi? Wi fun u ki o ràn mi lọwọ.

40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41 Ṣugbọn Jesu si dahùn, o si wi fun u pe, Marta, Marta, iwọ nṣe aniyan ati lãlã nitori ohun pipọ:

41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

42 Ṣugbọn ohun kan li a kò le ṣe alaini. Maria si ti yàn ipa rere na, ti a kò le gbà lọwọ rẹ̀.

42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
