1 NI ijọ kẹta a si nṣe igbeyawo kan ni Kana ti Galili; iya Jesu si mbẹ nibẹ̀:
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 A si pè Jesu ati awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ pẹlu, si ibi igbeyawo.
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 Nigbati waini si tan, iya Jesu wi fun u pe, Nwọn kò ni waini.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesu wi fun u pe, Kini ṣe temi tirẹ, obinrin yi? wakati mi kò iti de.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 Iya rẹ̀ wi fun awọn iranṣẹ pe, Ohunkohun ti o ba wi fun nyin, ẹ ṣe e.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 Ikoko okuta omi mẹfa li a si gbé kalẹ nibẹ̀, gẹgẹ bi iṣe ìwẹnu awọn Ju, ọkọkan nwọn gbà to ìwọn ládugbó meji tabi mẹta.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesu wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ pọn omi kun ikoko wọnni. Nwọn si kún wọn titi de eti.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 O si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ bù u jade nisisiyi, ki ẹ si gbé e tọ̀ olori àse lọ. Nwọn si gbé e lọ.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 Bi olori àse si ti tọ́ omi ti a sọ di waini wò, ti ko si mọ̀ ibi ti o ti wá (ṣugbọn awọn iranṣẹ ti o bù omi na wá mọ̀), olori àse pè ọkọ iyawo,
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 O si wi fun u pe, Olukuluku enia a mã kọ́ gbé waini rere kalẹ; nigbati awọn enia ba si mu yó tan, nigbana ni imu eyi ti kò dara tobẹ̃ wá: ṣugbọn iwọ ti pa waini daradara yi mọ́ titi o fi di isisiyi.
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 Akọṣe iṣẹ àmi yi ni Jesu ṣe ni Kana ti Galili, o si fi ogo rẹ̀ hàn; awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ si gbà a gbọ́.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 Lẹhin eyi, o sọkalẹ lọ si Kapernamu, on ati iya rẹ̀ ati awọn arakunrin rẹ̀, ati awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀: nwọn kò si gbé ibẹ̀ li ọjọ pupọ.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
13 Ajọ irekọja awọn Ju si sunmọ etile, Jesu si goke lọ si Jerusalemu,
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 O si ri awọn ti ntà malu, ati agutan, ati àdaba ni tẹmpili, ati awọn onipaṣipàrọ owo joko:
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 O si fi okùn tẹrẹ ṣe paṣan, o si lé gbogbo wọn jade kuro ninu tẹmpili, ati agutan ati malu; o si dà owo awọn onipaṣipàrọ owo nù, o si bì tabili wọn ṣubu.
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 O si wi fun awọn ti ntà àdaba pe, Ẹ gbe nkan wọnyi kuro nihin; ẹ máṣe sọ ile Baba mi di ile ọjà tità.
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 Awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ si ranti pe, a ti kọ ọ pe, Itara ile rẹ jẹ mi run.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Nigbana li awọn Ju dahùn, nwọn si wi fun u pe Àmi wo ni iwọ fi hàn wa, ti iwọ fi nṣe nkan wọnyi?
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesu dahùn o si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ wó tẹmpili yi palẹ̀, ni ijọ mẹta Emi o si gbé e ró.
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Nigbana li awọn Ju wipe, Ọdún mẹrindiladọta li a fi kọ́ tẹmpili yi, iwọ o ha si gbé e ró ni ijọ mẹta?
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 Ṣugbọn on nsọ ti tẹmpili ara rẹ̀.
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 Nitorina nigbati o jinde kuro ninu okú, awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ ranti pe, o ti sọ eyi fun wọn; nwọn si gbà iwe-mimọ́ gbọ́, ati ọ̀rọ ti Jesu ti sọ.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
23 Nigbati o si wà ni Jerusalemu, ni ajọ irekọja, lakoko ajọ na, ọ̀pọ enia gbà orukọ rẹ̀ gbọ nigbati nwọn ri iṣẹ àmi rẹ̀ ti o ṣe.
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24 Ṣugbọn Jesu kò gbé ara le wọn, nitoriti o mọ̀ gbogbo enia.
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25 On ko si wa ki ẹnikẹni ki o jẹri enia fun on: nitoriti on mọ̀ ohun ti mbẹ ninu enia.
25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
