Read Job 10
1 AGARA ìwa aiye mi da mi tan, emi o tú aroye mi sode lọdọ mi, emi o ma sọ ninu kikorò ibinujẹ ọkàn mi.
1 My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
2 Emi o wi fun Ọlọrun pe, o jare! máṣe dá mi lẹbi; fi hàn mi nitori idi ohun ti iwọ fi mba mi jà.
2 I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.
3 O ha tọ́ si ọ ti iwọ iba ma tẹ̀mọlẹ̀, ti iwọ iba fi ma gan iṣẹ ọwọ rẹ, ti iwọ o fi ma tan imọlẹ si ìmọ enia buburu?
3 Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
4 Oju rẹ iha ṣe oju enia bi? tabi iwọ a ma riran bi enia ti iriran?
4 Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
5 Ọjọ rẹ ha dabi ọjọ enia, ọdun rẹ ha dabi ọdun enia?
5 Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,
6 Ti iwọ fi mbere aiṣedẽde mi, ti iwọ si fi wa ẹ̀ṣẹ mi ri?
6 That thou inquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?
7 Iwọ mọ̀ pe emi kì iṣe oniwa-buburu, kò si sí ẹniti igbà kuro li ọwọ rẹ.
7 Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
8 Ọwọ rẹ li o ti dá mi, ti o si mọ mi pọ̀ yikakiri; sibẹ iwọ si mbà mi jẹ́.
8 Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
9 Emi bẹ̀ ọ ranti pe iwọ ti mọ mi bi amọ̀; iwọ o ha si tun mu mi pada lọ sinu erupẹ?
9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
10 Iwọ kò ha ti tu mi dà jade bi wàra, iwọ kò si mu mi dipọ̀ bi wàrakasi?
10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
11 Iwọ sa ti fi awọ ati ẹran-ara wọ̀ mi, iwọ si fi egungun ati iṣan ṣọgbà yi mi ká.
11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
12 Iwọ ti fun mi li ẹmi ati oju rere, ibẹ̀wo rẹ si pa ọkàn mi mọ́.
12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
13 Nkan wọnyi ni iwọ si ti fi pamọ ninu rẹ; emi mọ̀ pe, eyi mbẹ lọdọ rẹ.
13 And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
14 Bi mo ba ṣẹ̀, nigbana ni iwọ sàmi si mi, iwọ kì yio si dari aiṣedede mi ji.
14 If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.
15 Bi mo ba ṣe ẹni-buburu, egbé ni fun mi! bi mo ba si ṣe ẹni-rere, bẹ̃li emi kò si le igbe ori mi soke. Emi damu, mo si wo ipọnju mi.
15 If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
16 Nitoriti npọ̀ si i: iwọ ndẹ mi kiri bi kiniun; ati pẹlu, iwọ a si fi ara rẹ hàn fun mi ni iyanju.
16 For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.
17 Iwọ si tun sọ awọn ẹlẹri rẹ si mi di ọtun, iwọ si sọ irunu rẹ di pipọ si mi, ayipada ati ogun dó tì mi.
17 Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and war are against me.
18 Njẹ nitorina iwọ ha ṣe bí mi jade lati inu wá? A! emi iba kúku ti kú, ojukoju kì ba ti ri mi!
18 Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
19 Emi iba dabi ẹniti kò si ri, a ba ti gbe mi lati inu lọ si isà-okú.
19 I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
20 Ọjọ mi kò ha kuru bi? dawọ duro, ki o si jọwọ mi jẹ ki emi fi aiya balẹ diẹ.
20 Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
21 Ki emi ki o to lọ sibi ti emi kì yio pada sẹhin mọ́, ani si ilẹ òkunkun ati ojiji ikú.
21 Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
22 Ilẹ òkunkun bi òkunkun tikararẹ̀, ati ti ojiji ikú, laini èto, nibiti imọlẹ dabi òkunkun.
22 A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
