1 LI ọjọ wọnni Hesekiah ṣaisàn de oju ikú. Woli Isaiah ọmọ Amosi si wá sọdọ rẹ̀, o si wi fun u pe, Bayi ni Oluwa wi, Palẹ ile rẹ mọ́: nitori iwọ o kú, o ki yio si yè.
1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Nigbana ni Hesekiah yi oju rẹ̀ si ogiri, o si gbadura si Oluwa.
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
3 O si wipe, Nisisiyi, Oluwa, mo bẹ̀ ọ, ranti bi mo ti rìn niwaju rẹ li otitọ ati pẹlu aiya pipé, ati bi mo si ti ṣe eyiti o dara li oju rẹ. Hesekiah si sọkún pẹrẹ̀pẹrẹ̀.
3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
4 Ọ̀rọ Oluwa si tọ̀ Isaiah wá, wipe,
4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
5 Lọ, si wi fun Hesekiah pe, Bayi ni Oluwa, Ọlọrun Dafidi baba rẹ wi, mo ti gbọ́ adura rẹ, mo ti ri omije rẹ: kiyesi i emi o fi ọdun mẹ̃dogun kún ọjọ rẹ.
5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
6 Emi o si gbà ọ ati ilu yi lọwọ ọba Assiria: emi o si dãbò bò ilu yi.
6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
7 Eyi yio sì jẹ àmi fun ọ lati ọdọ Oluwa wá, pe, Oluwa yio ṣe nkan yi ti o ti sọ;
7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
8 Kiyesi i, emi o tún mu ìwọn òjiji ti o ti sọkalẹ lara agogo-õrùn Ahasi pada ni ìwọn mẹwa. Bẹ̃ni õrun pada ni ìwọn mẹwa ninu ìwọn ti o ti sọkalẹ.
8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
9 Iwe Hesekiah ọba Juda, nigbati o fi ṣaisàn, ti o si sàn ninu aisàn rẹ̀:
9 The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:
10 Mo ni, ni ìke-kuro ọjọ mi, emi o lọ si ẹnu-ọnà isà-okú; a dù mi ni iyokù ọdun mi.
10 I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.
11 Mo ni, emi kì yio ri Oluwa, ani Oluwa, ni ilẹ alãyè: emi kì yio ri enia mọ lãrin awọn ti ngbé ibi idakẹ.
11 I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
12 Ọjọ ori mi lọ, a si ṣi i kuro lọdọ mi bi àgọ olùṣọ agutan: mo ti ké ẹmi mi kuro bi ahunṣọ: yio ké mi kuro bi fọ́nran-òwu tinrin: lati ọ̀san de oru ni iwọ o mu mi de òpin mi.
12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
13 Mo ṣirò titi di òwurọ, pe, bi kiniun, bẹ̃ni yio fọ́ gbogbo egungun mi; lati ọ̀san de oru ni iwọ o mu mi de òpin mi.
13 I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
14 Bi akọ̀ tabi alapandẹ̀dẹ, bẹ̃ni mo dún; mo kãnu bi oriri: ãrẹ̀ mu oju mi fun iwòke: Oluwa, ara nni mi: ṣe onigbọwọ mi.
14 Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
15 Kili emi o wi? o ti sọ fun mi, on tikalarẹ̀ si ti ṣe e: emi o ma lọ jẹjẹ fun gbogbo ọdun mi ni kikorò ọkàn mi.
15 What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
16 Oluwa, nipa nkan wọnyi li enia ima wà, ati ni gbogbo nkan wọnyi ni iye ẹmi mi: bẹ̃ni iwọ o mu mi lara dá, iwọ o si mu mi yè.
16 O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
17 Kiyesi i, mo ti ni ikorò nla nipò alafia: ṣugbọn iwọ ti fẹ́ ọkàn mi lati ihò idibàjẹ wá: nitori iwọ ti gbe gbogbo ẹ̀ṣẹ mi si ẹ̀hin rẹ.
17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
18 Nitori ibojì kò le yìn ọ, ikú kò le fiyìn fun ọ: awọn ti o sọkalẹ lọ sinu ihò kò le ni irèti otitọ rẹ.
18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
19 Alãyè, alãyè, on ni yio yìn ọ, bi mo ti nṣe loni yi: baba yio fi otitọ rẹ hàn fun awọn ọmọ.
19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
20 Oluwa mura tan lati gbà mi: nitorina a o kọ orin mi lara dùrù olokùn, ni gbogbo ọjọ aiye wa ni ile Oluwa.
20 The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
21 Nitori Isaiah ti wipe, Ki nwọn mu ìṣu ọ̀pọtọ́, ki a si fi ṣán õwo na, yio si sàn.
21 For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover.
22 Hesekiah pẹlu ti wipe, Kili àmi na pe emi o goke lọ si ile Oluwa?
22 Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD?
