1 OLUWA, iwọ li Ọlọrun mi; emi o gbe ọ ga, emi o yìn orukọ rẹ; nitori iwọ ti ṣe ohun iyanu; ìmọ igbani, ododo ati otitọ ni.

1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

2 Nitori iwọ ti sọ ilu kan di okiti; iwọ ti sọ ilu olodi di iparun: ãfin awọn alejo, kò jẹ ilu mọ́; a kì yio kọ́ ọ mọ.

2 For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

3 Nitorina ni awọn alagbara enia yio yìn ọ li ogo, ilu orilẹ-ède ti o ni ibẹ̀ru yio bẹ̀ru rẹ.

3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

4 Nitori iwọ ti jẹ agbara fun talaka, agbara fun alaini ninu iṣẹ́ rẹ̀, ãbo kuro ninu ìji, ojiji kuro ninu oru, nigbati ẹfũfu lile awọn ti o ni ibẹ̀ru dabi ìji lara ogiri.

4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

5 Iwọ o mu ariwo awọn alejo rọlẹ, gẹgẹ bi oru nibi gbigbẹ; ani oru pẹlu ojiji awọsanma: a o si rẹ̀ orin-ayọ̀ awọn ti o ni ibẹ̀ru silẹ.

5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

6 Ati ni oke-nla yi li Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun yio sè asè ohun abọ́pa fun gbogbo orilẹ-ède, asè ọti-waini lori gẹ̀dẹ̀gẹ́dẹ, ti ohun abọpa ti o kún fun ọra, ti ọti-waini ti o tòro lori gẹ̀dẹ̀gẹ́dẹ.

6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

7 Li oke-nla yi on o si pa iboju ti o bò gbogbo enia loju run, ati iboju ti a nà bò gbogbo orilẹ-ède.

7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

8 On o gbe iku mì lailai; Oluwa Jehofah yio nù omije nù kuro li oju gbogbo enia; yio si mu ẹ̀gan enia rẹ̀ kuro ni gbogbo aiye: nitori Oluwa ti wi i.

8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

9 A o si sọ li ọjọ na pe, Wò o, Ọlọrun wa li eyi; awa ti duro de e, on o si gbà wa là: Oluwa li eyi: awa ti duro de e, awa o ma yọ̀, inu wa o si ma dùn ninu igbala rẹ̀.

9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

10 Nitori li oke-nla yi ni ọwọ́ Oluwa yio simi, yio si tẹ Moabu labẹ rẹ̀, ani gẹgẹ bi ãti tẹ̀ koriko mọlẹ fun ãtan.

10 For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

11 Yio si nà ọwọ́ rẹ̀ jade li ãrin wọn, gẹgẹ bi òmùwẹ̀ iti nà ọwọ́ rẹ̀ jade lati wẹ̀: on o si rẹ̀ igberaga wọn silẹ pọ̀ pẹlu ikogun ọwọ́ wọn.

11 And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

12 Odi alagbara, odi giga, odi rẹ li on o wó lulẹ, yio rẹ̀ ẹ silẹ, yio mu u wá ilẹ, ani sinu ekuru.

12 And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
