1 NJẸ pataki ninu ohun ti a nsọ li eyi: Awa ni irú Olori Alufa bẹ̃, ti o joko li ọwọ́ ọtún itẹ́ ọla nla ninu awọn ọrun:

1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

2 Iranṣẹ ibi mimọ́, ati ti agọ́ tõtọ, ti Oluwa pa, kì iṣe enia.

2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

3 Nitori a fi olukuluku olori alufa jẹ lati mã mu ẹ̀bun wá ati lati mã rubọ: nitorina olori alufa yi pẹlu kò le ṣe aini ohun ti yio fi rubọ.

3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

4 Nisisiyi ibaṣepe o mbẹ li aiye, on kì bá tilẹ jẹ alufa, nitori awọn ti nfi ẹbun rubọ gẹgẹ bi ofin mbẹ:

4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

5 Awọn ẹniti njọsìn fun apẹrẹ ati ojiji awọn ohun ọrun, bi a ti kọ́ Mose lati ọdọ Ọlọrun wá nigbati o fẹ pa agọ́: nitori o wipe, kiyesi ki o ṣe ohun gbogbo gẹgẹ bi apẹrẹ ti a fihàn ọ lori òke.

5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

6 Ṣugbọn nisisiyi o ti gbà iṣẹ iranṣẹ ti o ni ọlá jù, niwọn bi o ti jẹ pe alarina majẹmu ti o dara jù ni iṣe, eyiti a fi ṣe ofin lori ileri ti o sàn jù bẹ̃ lọ.

6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

7 Nitori ibaṣepe majẹmu iṣaju nì kò li àbuku, njẹ a kì ba ti wá àye fun ekeji.

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8 Nitoriti o ri àbuku lara wọn, o wipe, Kiyesi i, ọjọ mbọ̀, li Oluwa wi, ti emi o bá ile Israeli ati ile Juda dá majẹmu titun.

8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9 Kì iṣe gẹgẹ bi majẹmu ti mo ti bá awọn baba wọn dá, li ọjọ na ti mo fà wọn lọwọ lati mu wọn jade kuro ni ilẹ Egipti; nitoriti nwọn kò duro ninu majẹmu mi, emi kò si kà wọn si, ni Oluwa wi.

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10 Nitori eyi ni majẹmu ti emi ó ba ile Israeli da lẹhin ọjọ wọnni, li Oluwa wi; Emi ó fi ofin mi si inu wọn, emi o si kọ wọn si ọkàn wọn: emi o si mã jẹ́ Ọlọrun fun wọn, nwọn o si mã jẹ́ enia fun mi:

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 Olukuluku kì yio si mã kọ́ ara ilu rẹ̀ ati olukuluku arakunrin rẹ̀ wipe, Mọ̀ Oluwa: nitoripe gbogbo wọn ni yio mọ̀ mi, lati kekere de àgba.

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 Nitoripe emi o ṣãnu fun aiṣododo wọn, ati ẹ̀ṣẹ wọn ati aiṣedede wọn li emi kì yio si ranti mọ́.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

13 Li eyi ti o wipe, Majẹmu titun, o ti sọ ti iṣaju di ti lailai. Ṣugbọn eyi ti o ndi ti lailai ti o si ngbó, o mura ati di asan.

13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
