1 ỌLỌRUN, ẹni, ni igba pupọ̀ ati li onirũru ọna, ti o ti ipa awọn woli ba awọn baba sọ̀rọ nigbãni.
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Ni ikẹhin ọjọ wọnyi o ti ipasẹ Ọmọ rẹ̀ ba wa sọ̀rọ, ẹniti o fi ṣe ajogun ohun gbogbo, nipasẹ ẹniti o dá awọn aiye pẹlu;
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Ẹniti iṣe itanṣan ogo rẹ̀, ati aworan on tikararẹ, ti o si nfi ọ̀rọ agbara rẹ̀ mu ohun gbogbo duro, lẹhin ti o ti ṣe ìwẹnu ẹ̀ṣẹ, o joko li ọwọ́ ọtún Ọlánla li oke;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 O si ti fi bẹ̃ di ẹniti o sàn ju awọn angẹli lọ, bi o ti jogun orukọ ti o ta tiwọn yọ.
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 Nitori ewo ninu awọn angẹli li o wi fun rí pe, Iwọ li Ọmọ mi, loni ni mo bí ọ? Ati pẹlu, Emi yio jẹ Baba fun u, on yio si jẹ Ọmọ fun mi?
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 Ati pẹlu, nigbati o mu akọbi ni wá si aiye, o wipe, Ki gbogbo awọn angẹli Ọlọrun ki o foribalẹ fun u.
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 Ati niti awọn angẹli, o wipe, Ẹniti o dá awọn angẹli rẹ̀ li ẹmí, ati awọn iranṣẹ rẹ̀ li ọwọ́ iná.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 Ṣugbọn niti Ọmọ li o wipe, Itẹ́ rẹ, Ọlọrun, lai ati lailai ni; ọpá alade ododo li ọpá alade ijọba rẹ.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Iwọ fẹ ododo, iwọ si korira ẹ̀ṣẹ; nitorina li Ọlọrun, ani Ọlọrun rẹ, ṣe fi oróro ayọ̀ yan ọ jù awọn ẹgbẹ rẹ lọ.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 Ati Iwọ, Oluwa, li atetekọṣe li o ti fi ipilẹ aiye sọlẹ; awọn ọrun si ni iṣẹ ọwọ́ rẹ:
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 Nwọn ó ṣegbe; ṣugbọn iwọ ó wà sibẹ, gbogbo wọn ni yio si gbó bi ẹwu;
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 Ati bi aṣọ ni iwọ o si ká wọn, a o si pàrọ wọn: ṣugbọn bakanna ni iwọ, ọdún rẹ kì yio si pin.
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 Ṣugbọn ewo ninu awọn angẹli li o sọ nipa rẹ̀ ri pe, Joko li ọwọ́ ọtún mi, titi emi o fi sọ awọn ọtá rẹ di apoti itisẹ rẹ?
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Ẹmí ti njiṣẹ ki gbogbo wọn iṣe, ti a nran lọ lati mã jọsin nitori awọn ti yio jogun igbala?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
