1 IRAN awọn ọmọ Noa ni wọnyi, Ṣemu, Hamu, ati Jafeti: ati fun wọn li a si bí ọmọ lẹhin kíkun-omi.
1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2 Awọn ọmọ Jafeti; Gomeri, ati Magogu, ati Madai, ati Jafani, ati Tubali, ati Meṣeki, ati Tirasi.
2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 Ati awọn ọmọ Gomeri, Aṣkenasi, ati Rifati, ati Togarma.
3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 Ati awọn ọmọ Jafani; Eliṣa, ati Tarṣiṣi, Kittimu, ati Dodanimu.
4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 Lati ọdọ awọn wọnyi li a ti pín erekuṣu awọn orilẹ-ède ni ilẹ wọn, olukuluku gẹgẹ bi ohùn rẹ̀; gẹgẹ bi idile wọn, li orilẹ-ède wọn.
5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6 Ati awọn ọmọ Hamu; Kuṣi, ati Misraimu, ati Futi, ati Kenaani.
6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7 Ati awọn ọmọ Kuṣi; Seba, ati Hafila, ati Sabta, ati Raama, ati Sabteka; ati awọn ọmọ Raama; Ṣeba, ati Dedani.
7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
8 Kuṣi si bí Nimrodu: on si bẹ̀rẹ si idi alagbara li aiye.
8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 On si ṣe ogbóju ọdẹ niwaju OLUWA: nitori na li a ṣe nwipe, Gẹgẹ bi Nimrodu ogbóju ọdẹ niwaju OLUWA.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
10 Ipilẹṣẹ ijọba rẹ̀ ni Babeli, ati Ereki, ati Akkadi, ati Kalne, ni ilẹ Ṣinari.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11 Lati ilẹ na ni Aṣṣuri ti jade lọ, o si tẹ̀ Ninefe, ati ilu Rehoboti, ati Kala dó.
11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
12 Ati Reseni lagbedemeji Ninefe on Kala: eyi na ni ilu nla.
12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.
13 Misraimu si bí Ludimu, ati Anamimu, ati Lehabimu, ati Naftuhimu,
13 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14 Ati Patrusimu, ati Kasluhimu (lati ọdọ ẹniti Filistimu ti wá), ati Kaftorimu.
14 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.
15 Kenaani si bí Sidoni akọbi rẹ̀, ati Heti,
15 And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16 Ati awọn ara Jebusi, ati awọn ara Amori, ati awọn ara Girgaṣi,
16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17 Ati awọn ara Hiffi, ati awọn ara Arki, ati awọn ara Sini,
17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18 Ati awọn ara Arfadi, ati awọn ara Semari, ati awọn ara Hamati; lẹhin eyini ni idile awọn ara Kenaani tàn kalẹ.
18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
19 Ati àgbegbe awọn ara Kenaani ni Sidoni, bi o ti mbọ̀wa Gerari, titi de Gasa; bi o ti nlọ si Sodomu, ati Gomorra, ati Adma, ati Seboimu, titi dé Laṣa.
19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
20 Awọn wọnyi li ọmọ Hamu, gẹgẹ bi idile wọn, gẹgẹ bi ohùn wọn, ni ilẹ wọn, ati li orilẹ-ède wọn.
20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
21 Fun Ṣemu pẹlu, baba gbogbo awọn ọmọ Eberi, ẹgbọn Jafeti ati fun on li a bimọ.
21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
22 Awọn ọmọ Ṣemu: Elamu, ati Aṣṣuri, ati Arfaksadi, ati Ludi, ati Aramu.
22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 Ati awọn ọmọ Aramu; Usi, ati Huli, ati Geteri, ati Maṣi.
23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 Arfaksadi si bí Ṣela; Ṣela si bí Eberi.
24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
25 Ati fun Eberi li a bí ọmọkunrin meji; orukọ ekini ni Pelegi; nitori nigba ọjọ́ rẹ̀ ni ilẹ yà; orukọ arakunrin rẹ̀ ni Joktani.
25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
26 Joktani si bí Almodadi, ati Ṣelefi, ati Hasarmafeti, ati Jera,
26 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazar-maveth, and Jerah,
27 Ati Hadoramu, ati Usali, ati Dikla,
27 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28 Ati Obali, ati Abimaeli, ati Ṣeba,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 Ati Ofiri, ati Hafila, ati Jobabu: gbogbo awọn wọnyi li ọmọ Joktani.
29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30 Ibugbe wọn si ti Meṣa lọ, bi iwọ ti nlọ si Sefari, oke kan ni ìla-õrùn.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
31 Awọn wọnyi li ọmọ Ṣemu, gẹgẹ bi idile wọn, gẹgẹ bi ohùn wọn, ni ilẹ wọn, li orilẹ-ède wọn.
31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
32 Wọnyi ni idile awọn ọmọ Noa, gẹgẹ bi iran wọn, li orilẹ-ède wọn: lati ọwọ́ awọn wọnyi wá li a ti pín orilẹ-ède aiye lẹhin kíkun-omi.
32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
