¹ ẸNYIN alaironu ara Galatia, tani ha tàn nyin jẹ, ki ẹnyin ki o máṣe gbà otitọ gbọ́, li oju ẹniti a fi Jesu Kristi hàn gbangba lãrin nyin li ẹniti a kàn mọ agbelebu.

¹ O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

² Kìki eyi ni mo fẹ mọ̀ lọwọ nyin pe, Nipa iṣẹ ofin li ẹnyin gbà Ẹmí bi, tabi nipa igbọran igbagbọ́?

² This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

³ Bayi li ẹnyin ṣe alaironu to? ẹnyin ti o ti bẹ̀rẹ nipa ti Ẹmí a ha ṣe nyin pé nisisiyi nipa ti ara?

³ Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

⁴ Ẹnyin ha ti jìya ọ̀pọlọpọ nkan wọnni lasan? bi o tilẹ ṣepe lasan ni.

⁴ Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

⁵ Nitorina ẹniti o fun nyin li Ẹmí na, ti o si ṣe iṣẹ-agbara larin nyin, nipa iṣẹ ofin li o fi nṣe e bi, tabi nipa igbọran igbagbọ́?

⁵ He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

⁶ Gẹgẹ bi Abrahamu ti gbà Ọlọrun gbọ́, a si kà a si fun u li ododo.

⁶ Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

⁷ Nitorina ki ẹnyin ki o mọ̀ pe awọn ti iṣe ti igbagbọ́, awọn na ni iṣe ọmọ Abrahamu.

⁷ Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

⁸ Bi iwe-mimọ́ si ti ri i tẹlẹ pe, Ọlọrun yio dá awọn Keferi lare nipa igbagbọ́, o ti wasu ihinrere ṣaju fun Abrahamu, o nwipe, Ninu rẹ li a o bukún fun gbogbo orilẹ-ède.

⁸ And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

⁹ Gẹgẹ bẹ̃li awọn ti iṣe ti igbagbọ́ jẹ ẹni alabukún-fun pẹlu Abrahamu olododo.

⁹ So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

¹⁰ Nitoripe iye awọn ti mbẹ ni ipa iṣẹ ofin mbẹ labẹ ègún: nitoriti a ti kọ ọ pe, Ifibu ni olukuluku ẹniti kò duro ninu ohun gbogbo ti a kọ sinu iwe ofin lati mã ṣe wọn.

¹⁰ For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

¹¹ Nitori o daniloju pe, a kò da ẹnikẹni lare niwaju Ọlọrun nipa iṣẹ ofin: nitoripe, Olododo yio yè nipa igbagbọ́.

¹¹ But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

¹² Ofin kì si iṣe ti igbagbọ́: ṣugbọn Ẹniti nṣe wọn yio yè nipasẹ wọn.

¹² And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

¹³ Kristi ti rà wa pada kuro lọwọ egun ofin, ẹniti a fi ṣe egun fun wa: nitoriti a ti kọ ọ pe, Ifibu li olukuluku ẹniti a fi kọ́ sori igi:

¹³ Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

¹⁴ Ki ibukún Abrahamu ki o le wá sori awọn Keferi nipa Kristi Jesu; ki awa ki o le gbà ileri Ẹmí nipa igbagbọ́.

¹⁴ That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

¹⁵ Ará, emi nsọ̀rọ bi enia; bi o tilẹ jẹ pe majẹmu enia ni, ṣugbọn bi a ba ti fi idi rẹ̀ mulẹ, kò si ẹniti o le sọ ọ di asan, tabi ti o le fi kún u mọ́.

¹⁵ Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

¹⁶ Njẹ fun Abrahamu ati fun irú-ọmọ rẹ̀ li a ti ṣe awọn ileri na. On kò wipe, Fun awọn irú ọmọ, bi ẹnipe ọ̀pọlọpọ; ṣugbọn bi ẹnipe ọ̀kan, ati fun irú-ọmọ rẹ, eyiti iṣe Kristi.

¹⁶ Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

¹⁷ Eyi ni mo nwipe, majẹmu ti Ọlọrun ti fi idi rẹ̀ mulẹ niṣãju, ofin ti o de lẹhin ọgbọ̀n-le-nirinwo ọdún kò le sọ ọ di asan, ti a ba fi mu ileri na di alailagbara.

¹⁷ And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

¹⁸ Nitori bi ijogun na ba ṣe ti ofin, kì iṣe ti ileri mọ́: ṣugbọn Ọlọrun ti fi i fun Abrahamu nipa ileri.

¹⁸ For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

¹⁹ Njẹ ki ha li ofin? a fi kun u nitori irekọja titi irú-ọmọ ti a ti ṣe ileri fun yio fi de; a si ti ipasẹ awọn angẹli ṣe ìlana rẹ̀ lati ọwọ́ alarina kan wá.

¹⁹ Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

²⁰ Njẹ alarina kì iṣe alarina ti ẹnikan, ṣugbọn ọ̀kan li Ọlọrun.

²⁰ Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

²¹ Nitorina ofin ha lodi si awọn ileri Ọlọrun bi? Ki a má ri: nitori ibaṣepe a ti fi ofin kan funni, ti o lagbara lati sọni di ãye, nitotọ ododo iba ti ti ipasẹ ofin wá.

²¹ Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

²² Ṣugbọn iwe-mimọ́ ti sé gbogbo nkan mọ́ sabẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ, ki a le fi ileri nipa igbagbọ́ ninu Jesu Kristi fun awọn ti o gbagbọ́.

²² But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

²³ Ṣugbọn ki igbagbọ́ to de, a ti pa wa mọ́ labẹ ofin, a si sé wa mọ́ de igbagbọ́ ti a mbọwa fihàn.

²³ But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

²⁴ Nitorina ofin ti jẹ olukọni lati mu ni wá sọdọ Kristi, ki a le da wa lare nipa igbagbọ́.

²⁴ Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

²⁵ Ṣugbọn lẹhin igbati igbagbọ́ ti de, awa kò si labẹ olukọni mọ́.

²⁵ But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

²⁶ Nitoripe ọmọ Ọlọrun ni gbogbo nyin, nipa igbagbọ́ ninu Kristi Jesu.

²⁶ For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

²⁷ Nitoripe iye ẹnyin ti a ti baptisi sinu Kristi, ti gbe Kristi wọ̀.

²⁷ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

²⁸ Kò le si Ju tabi Hellene, ẹrú tabi omnira, ọkunrin tabi obinrin: nitoripe ọ̀kan ni gbogbo nyin jẹ ninu Kristi Jesu.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

²⁹ Bi ẹnyin ba si jẹ ti Kristi, njẹ ẹnyin ni irú-ọmọ Abrahamu, ati arole gẹgẹ bi ileri.

²⁹ And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
