¹ IWỌ, ọmọ enia, mu ọbẹ mimú, mu abẹ onigbajamọ̀, ki o si mu u kọja li ori rẹ, ati ni irùngbọn rẹ: si mu oṣuwọ̀n lati wọ̀n, ki o si pin irun na.

¹ And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's rasor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weight, and divide the hair.

² Iwọ o si fi iná sun idamẹta li ãrin ilu, nigbati ọjọ didotì ba pé: iwọ o si mu idamẹta, ki o si fi ọbẹ bù u kakiri: idamẹta ni iwọ o si tuka sinu ẹfũfù, emi o si yọ idà tẹle wọn.

² Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

³ Iwọ o si mu iye diẹ nibẹ, iwọ o si dì wọn si eti aṣọ rẹ.

³ Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.

⁴ Si tun mu ninu wọn, ki o si sọ wọn si ãrin iná, ki o si sun wọn ninu iná; lati inu rẹ̀ wá ni iná o ti jade wá si gbogbo ile Israeli.

⁴ Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

⁵ Bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Eyi ni Jerusalemu: Emi ti gbe e kalẹ li ãrin awọn orilẹ-ède, ati awọn ilẹ ti o wà yi i ka kiri.

⁵ Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

⁶ O si ti pa idajọ mi dà si buburu ju awọn orilẹ-ède lọ, ati ilana mi ju ilẹ ti o yi i kakiri: nitori nwọn ti kọ̀ idajọ ati ilana mi, nwọn kò rìn ninu wọn.

⁶ And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

⁷ Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi: Nitori ti ẹnyin ṣe ju awọn orilẹ-ède ti o yi nyin ka kiri lọ, ti ẹnyin kò rìn ninu ilana mi, ti ẹ kò pa idajọ mi mọ, ti ẹ kò si ṣe gẹgẹ bi idajọ awọn orilẹ-ède ti o yi nyin ka kiri.

⁷ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

⁸ Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi: kiye si i, Emi, ani Emi, doju kọ ọ, emi o si ṣe idajọ li ãrin rẹ li oju awọn orilẹ-ède.

⁸ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

⁹ Emi o si ṣe ninu rẹ ohun ti emi kò ṣe ri, iru eyi ti emi kì yio si ṣe mọ, nitori gbogbo ohun irira rẹ.

⁹ And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

¹⁰ Nitorina awọn baba yio jẹ awọn ọmọ li ãrin rẹ, ati awọn ọmọ yio si jẹ awọn baba wọn; emi o si ṣe idajọ ninu rẹ, ati gbogbo iyokù rẹ li emi o tuka si gbogbo ẹfũfù.

¹⁰ Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.

¹¹ Nitorina Oluwa Ọlọrun wipe, Bi mo ti wà; Nitõtọ, nitori ti iwọ ti sọ ibi mimọ́ mi di aimọ́ nipa ohun ẹgbin rẹ, ati pẹlu gbogbo ohun irira rẹ, nitori na li emi o ṣe dín ọ kù, oju mi kì yio dasi, bẹ̃ni emi kì yio ṣãnu fun ọ.

¹¹ Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

¹² Idámẹta rẹ yio kú nipa ajakalẹ arùn, nwọn o si run li ãrin rẹ nipa iyàn, idámẹta yio si ṣubu nipa idà yi ọ ka kiri, emi o si tú idamẹta ká si gbogbo ẹfũfù, emi o si yọ idà tẹle wọn.

¹² A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

¹³ Bayi ni ibinu mi o ṣẹ, emi o si mu ibinu mi duro lori wọn, inu mi yio si tutù: nwọn o si mọ̀ pe emi Oluwa ti sọ ọ ninu itara mi, nigbati mo ba pari ibinu mi ninu wọn.

¹³ Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

¹⁴ Emi o si fi ọ ṣòfo, emi o si sọ ọ di ẹ̀gan lãrin awọn orilẹ-ède ti o yi ọ ka kiri, li oju gbogbo awọn ti nkọja.

¹⁴ Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

¹⁵ Bẹ̃ni yio si di ẹ̀gan ati ẹsín, ẹkọ́ ati iyanu si awọn orilẹ-ède ti o wà yi ọ ka kiri; nigbati emi o ṣe idajọ ninu rẹ ninu ibinu, ati ninu irunu on ibawi irunu. Emi Oluwa li o sọ ọ.

¹⁵ So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

¹⁶ Nigbati emi o rán ọfà buburu iyàn si wọn, eyi ti yio jẹ fun iparun wọn, eyi ti emi o rán lati run nyin: emi o si sọ iyàn di pupọ̀ fun nyin, emi o si ṣẹ́ ọpá onjẹ nyin.

¹⁶ When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

¹⁷ Bẹ̃ni emi o rán iyàn ati ẹranko buburu si nyin, nwọn o si gbà ọ li ọmọ, ajàkalẹ arùn ati ẹjẹ̀ yio si kọja lãrin rẹ, emi o si mu idà wá sori rẹ. Emi Oluwa li o ti sọ ọ.

¹⁷ So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.
