¹ Ọ̀RỌ Oluwa tun tọ̀ mi wá, wipe,

¹ The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

² Ọmọ enia, obinrin meji wà, ọmọbinrin iyá kanna:

² Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

³ Nwọn si ṣe panṣaga ni Egipti; nwọn ṣe panṣaga nigba ewe wọn: nibẹ ni a tẹ̀ ọmú wọn, nibẹ ni wọn si rin ọmú igbà wundia wọn.

³ And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.

⁴ Orukọ wọn si ni Ahola, ti iṣe ẹ̀gbọn, ati Aholiba aburo rẹ̀: ti emi si ni nwọn, nwọn si bi ọmọkunrin ati ọmọbinrin. Orukọ wọn ni eyi; Samaria ni Ahola, Jerusalemu si li Aholiba.

⁴ And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

⁵ Ahola si ṣe panṣaga, nigbati o jẹ ti emi; o si fẹ awọn olufẹ rẹ̀ li afẹju, awọn ara Assiria aladugbo rẹ̀,

⁵ And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,

⁶ Ti a fi aṣọ alaro bò lara, awọn balogun ati awọn olori, gbogbo nwọn jẹ ọmọkunrin ti o wun ni, awọn ẹlẹṣin ti o ngùn ẹṣin.

⁶ Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

⁷ Bayi li o ṣe panṣaga rẹ̀ pẹlu wọn, pẹlu gbogbo awọn aṣàyan ọkunrin Assiria, ati pẹlu gbogbo awọn ti o fẹ li afẹjù: o fi gbogbo oriṣa wọn ba ara rẹ̀ jẹ.

⁷ Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

⁸ Bẹ̃ni kò fi panṣaga rẹ̀ ti o mu ti Egipti wá silẹ: nitori nigba ewe rẹ̀ ni nwọn ba a sùn, nwọn si rin ọmú ìgba wundia rẹ̀, nwọn si dà panṣaga wọn si i lara.

⁸ Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

⁹ Nitorina ni mo ti fi le ọwọ́ awọn olufẹ rẹ̀, le ọwọ́ awọn ara Assiria, awọn ti o fẹ li afẹju.

⁹ Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

¹⁰ Awọn wọnyi tu ìhoho rẹ̀ silẹ: nwọn mu awọn ọmọ rẹ̀ ọkunrin ati awọn ọmọ rẹ̀ obinrin, nwọn si fi idà pa a: o si di ẹni-olokiki lãrin awọn obinrin; nitori pe nwọn ti mu idajọ ṣẹ si i lara.

¹⁰ These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

¹¹ Nigbati Aholiba aburo ri eyi, o wà bàjẹ ju on lọ ni ìwa ifẹkufẹ rẹ̀, ati ni panṣaga rẹ̀ ju ẹ̀gbọn rẹ̀ lọ ni panṣaga rẹ̀.

¹¹ And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.

¹² O fẹ awọn ara Asiria aludugbo rẹ̀ li afẹju, awọn balogun ati awọn olori, ti a wọ̀ li aṣọ daradara, awọn ẹlẹṣin ti o ngùn ẹṣin, gbogbo wọn jẹ ọmọkunrin ti o wuni.

¹² She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

¹³ Nigbana ni mo ri pe a bà a jẹ, awọn mejeji gba ọ̀na kan.

¹³ Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,

¹⁴ Ati pe o mu ki panṣaga rẹ̀ bi si i: nitori igbati o ri awọn ọkunrin ti a ṣe li àworan sara ogiri, ere awọn ara Kaldea ti a fi ododó ṣe li àworan,

¹⁴ And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,

¹⁵ Ti a dì li àmure li ẹ̀gbẹ, ti nwọn ṣe aṣejù ni rirẹ lawani ori wọn, gbogbo wọn jẹ ajagun-kẹkẹ́ ti a ba ma wò, gẹgẹ bi iṣe awọn ara Babiloni ti Kaldea, ilẹ ibi wọn:

¹⁵ Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

¹⁶ Bi o si ti fi oju rẹ̀ ri wọn, o fẹ wọn li afẹjù, o si ran onṣẹ si wọn si Kaldea.

¹⁶ And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.

¹⁷ Awọn ara Babiloni si tọ̀ ọ wá lori akete ifẹ, nwọn si fi panṣaga wọn bà a jẹ, a si bà a jẹ pẹlu wọn, ọkàn rẹ̀ si ṣi kuro lọdọ wọn.

¹⁷ And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

¹⁸ Bayi li o tú idi panṣaga rẹ̀ silẹ, o si tú ihòho rẹ̀ silẹ: nigbana li ọkàn mi ṣi kuro lọdọ rẹ̀, gẹgẹ bi ọkàn mi ti ṣi kuro lọdọ ẹ̀gbọn rẹ̀.

¹⁸ So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.

¹⁹ Sibẹsibẹ o mu panṣaga rẹ̀ bi si i ni pipè ọjọ ewe rẹ̀ si iranti, ninu eyi ti o ti ṣe panṣaga ni ilẹ Egipti.

¹⁹ Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

²⁰ Nitoripe o fẹ awọn olufẹ wọn li afẹju, ẹran-ara awọn ti o dabi ẹran-ara kẹtẹkẹtẹ, ati irú awọn ẹni ti o dabi irú ẹṣin.

²⁰ For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

²¹ Bayi ni iwọ pe ìwa ifẹkufẹ ìgba ewe rẹ wá si iranti, niti ririn ori ọmú rẹ lati ọwọ́ awọn ara Egipti, fun ọmú ìgba ewe rẹ.

²¹ Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.

²² Nitorina, iwọ Aholiba, bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Kiye si i, emi o gbe awọn olufẹ rẹ dide si ọ, lọdọ awọn ti ọkàn rẹ ti ṣi, emi o si mu wọn doju kọ ọ niha gbogbo.

²² There, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

²³ Awọn ara Babiloni, ati gbogbo awọn ara Kaldea, Pekodu, ati Ṣoa, ati Koa, ati gbogbo awọn ara Assiria pẹlu wọn: gbogbo wọn jẹ ọmọkunrin ti o wunni, balogun ati awọn olori, awọn ọkunrin ti o li okiki, gbogbo wọn li o ngun ẹṣin.

²³ The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

²⁴ Nwọn o si wá fi kẹkẹ́ ogun, kẹkẹ́ ẹrù, ati kekẹ́ kekeke doju kọ ọ, ati pẹlu ìgbajọ ọ̀pọ enia, awọn ti yio doju asà, ati apata, ati akoro kọ ọ niha gbogbo: emi o si gbe idajọ kalẹ niwaju wọn, nwọn o si da ọ lẹjọ gẹgẹ bi idajọ wọn.

²⁴ And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

²⁵ Emi o si doju owu mi kọ ọ, nwọn o si fi irúnu ba ọ lò: nwọn o fá imu rẹ ati eti rẹ; ati awọn ti o kù ninu rẹ yio ti ọwọ́ idà ṣubu: nwọn o mu awọn ọmọ rẹ ọkunrin, ati awọn ọmọ rẹ obinrin lọ, ati awọn ti o kù ninu rẹ, li a o fi iná run.

²⁵ And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

²⁶ Nwọn o si bọ aṣọ rẹ, nwọn o si mu ohun ọṣọ daradara rẹ lọ.

²⁶ They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

²⁷ Bayi li emi o jẹ ki ifẹkufẹ rẹ mọ kuro lọdọ rẹ, ati panṣaga rẹ ti o mu ti ilẹ Egipti wá; tobẹ̃, ti iwọ kì yio gboju rẹ soke si wọn, bẹ̃ni iwọ kì yio si ranti Egipti mọ.

²⁷ Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.

²⁸ Nitori bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Kiyesi i, emi o fi ọ le awọn ti iwọ korira lọwọ, li ọwọ́ awọn ẹniti ọkàn rẹ ṣi:

²⁸ For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:

²⁹ Nwọn o si ba ọ lo ilo irira, nwọn o si ko gbogbo iṣẹ rẹ lọ, nwọn o si fi ọ silẹ ni ihoho ati ni goloto: ati ihoho panṣaga rẹ li a o tu silẹ, ti ifẹkufẹ rẹ, ati panṣaga rẹ.

²⁹ And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

³⁰ Emi o ṣe gbogbo nkan wọnyi si ọ, nitori pe iwọ ti bá awọn keferi ṣe agbere lọ, ati pe iwọ ti fi oriṣa wọn bà ara rẹ jẹ́.

³⁰ I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.

³¹ Iwọ ti rìn li ọ̀na ẹ̀gbọn rẹ, nitorina li emi o fi ago rẹ̀ le ọ lọwọ.

³¹ Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.

³² Bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Iwọ o mu ninu ago ẹ̀gbọn rẹ ti o jin, ti o si tobi: a o fi ọ rẹrin ẹlẹya, a o yọ ṣuti si ọ; o gbà pupọ.

³² Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

³³ A o fi ọti pa ọ, a o si fi ikãnu kún ọ, pẹlu ago iyanu ati idahoro, pẹlu ago Samaria ẹ̀gbọn rẹ.

³³ Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

³⁴ Iwọ o tilẹ mu u, iwọ o si fi ẹnu fa ọti jade, iwọ o si fọ apãdi na, iwọ o si fà ọmú ara rẹ tu, nitori mo ti sọ ọ, li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi.

³⁴ Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

³⁵ Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Nitoripe iwọ ti gbagbe mi ti o si ti sọ mi si ẹhìn rẹ, nitorina iwọ rù ifẹkufẹ rẹ pẹlu ati panṣaga rẹ,

³⁵ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

³⁶ Oluwa tun sọ fun mi pe; Ọmọ enia, iwọ o ha dá Ahola ati Aholiba lẹ́jọ? nitõtọ sọ irira wọn fun wọn;

³⁶ The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

³⁷ Pe, nwọn ti ṣe panṣaga ẹ̀jẹ si mbẹ lọwọ wọn, ati nipasẹ oriṣa wọn ni nwọn ti ṣe panṣaga, nwọn si ti jẹ ki awọn ọmọ wọn, ti nwọn bi fun mi, kọja lãrin iná fun wọn, lati run wọn.

³⁷ That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

³⁸ Eyi ni nwọn si ṣe si mi; nwọn ti bà ibi mimọ́ mi jẹ li ọjọ kanna, nwọn sọ ọjọ isimi mi di aìlọwọ.

³⁸ Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

³⁹ Nitoripe igbati nwọn pa awọn ọmọ wọn fun oriṣa wọn, nigbana ni nwọn wá ni ijọ kanna si ibi mimọ́ mi, lati sọ ọ di àilọwọ; si kiye si i, bayi ni nwọn ṣe lãrin ile mi.

³⁹ For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

⁴⁰ Ati pẹlupẹlu, ti pe ẹnyin ranṣẹ pè awọn ọkunrin lati okẽre wá, sọdọ awọn ti a ranṣẹ pè; si kiyesi i, nwọn de: fun ẹniti iwọ wẹ̀ ara rẹ, ti o si le tirõ, ti o si fi ohun ọṣọ́ ṣe ara rẹ li ọṣọ́.

⁴⁰ And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,

⁴¹ Ti o si joko lori àkete daradara, a si tẹ́ tabili siwaju rẹ̀, lori eyi ti iwọ gbe turari mi ati ororó mi lé.

⁴¹ And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.

⁴² Ati ohùn ọ̀pọlọpọ enia, ti nwọn pa rọ́rọ wà lọdọ rẹ̀: ati pẹlu enia lasan li a mu awọn Sabeani lati aginjù wá, ti nwọn fi jufù si apá wọn, ati ade daradara si ori wọn.

⁴² And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

⁴³ Nigbana ni mo wi fun on ti o gbó ni panṣaga, Nwọn o ha bá a ṣe panṣaga nisisiyi, ati on pẹlu wọn?

⁴³ Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

⁴⁴ Sibẹsibẹ wọn wọle tọ̀ ọ, bi nwọn ti iwọle tọ̀ obinrin ti nṣe panṣaga: bẹ̃ni nwọn wọle tọ̀ Ahola ati Aholiba, awọn onifẹkufẹ obinrin.

⁴⁴ Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

⁴⁵ Ati awọn ọkunrin olododo, nwọn o ṣe idajọ wọn, bi a ti iṣe idajọ awọn àgbere obinrin, ati bi a ti iṣe idajọ awọn obinrin ti o ta ẹjẹ silẹ; nitoripe àgbere ni nwọn, ẹjẹ si wà lọwọ wọn.

⁴⁵ And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

⁴⁶ Nitori bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; emi o mu ẹgbẹ kan tọ̀ wọn wá, emi o si fi wọn fun wọn lati kó wọn lọ, ati lati bà wọn jẹ.

⁴⁶ For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

⁴⁷ Ẹgbẹ na yio si sọ wọn li okuta, nwọn o si fi idà pa wọn; nwọn o pa awọn ọmọ wọn ọkunrin, ati awọn ọmọ wọn obinrin, nwọn o si fi iná kun ile wọn.

⁴⁷ And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.

⁴⁸ Bayi li emi o jẹ ki ìwa ifẹkufẹ mọ lãrin ilẹ na, ki a ba le kọ́ gbogbo obinrin, ki nwọn má bà ṣe bi ifẹkufẹ nyin.

⁴⁸ Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

⁴⁹ Nwọn o si san ẹ̀san ìwa ifẹkufẹ nyin si ori nyin, ẹnyin o si rù ẹ̀ṣẹ oriṣa nyin; ẹnyin o si mọ̀ pe emi li Oluwa Ọlọrun.

⁴⁹ And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
