1 Ọ̀RỌ Oluwa si tọ̀ mi wá, wipe,

1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Njẹ, iwọ ọmọ enia, iwọ o ha ṣe idajọ, iwọ o ha ṣe idajọ ilu ẹlẹjẹ na? nitõtọ, iwọ o jẹ ki o mọ̀ ohun irira rẹ̀ gbogbo.

2 Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.

3 Nitorina, iwọ wipe, Bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi, Ilu ti o ta ẹjẹ silẹ lãrin rẹ̀, ki akoko rẹ̀ ki o le de, o si ṣe oriṣa si ara rẹ̀ lati sọ ara rẹ̀ di aimọ́.

3 Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.

4 Iwọ ti di ẹlẹbi niti ẹjẹ rẹ ti iwọ ti ta silẹ; iwọ si ti sọ ara rẹ di aimọ́ niti òriṣa rẹ ti iwọ ti ṣe, iwọ si ti mu ọjọ rẹ summọ tosí, iwọ si ti dé ọdun rẹ: nitorina ni mo ṣe sọ ọ di ẹgàn si awọn keferi, ati ẹsín si gbogbo ilẹ.

4 Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.

5 Awọn ti o sunmọ tosí, ati awọn ti o jìna si ọ, yio fi ọ ṣẹ̀sin, iwọ ti a bà orukọ rẹ̀ jẹ, ti a si bà ninu jẹ pupọ.

5 Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.

6 Kiyesi i, awọn ọmọ-alade Israeli, olukuluku ninu agbara rẹ̀ wà ninu rẹ lati ta ẹjẹ silẹ.

6 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.

7 Ninu rẹ ni nwọn kò ka baba ati iyá si: lãrin rẹ ni nwọn ti ni awọn alejo lara: ninu rẹ ni nwọn ti bà alaini-baba ati opo ninu jẹ.

7 In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.

8 Iwọ ti gan awọn ohun mimọ́ mi, o si ti sọ ọjọ isimi mi di ailọ̀wọ.

8 Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.

9 Ninu rẹ ni awọn ọkunrin ti o nṣe ofófo lati ta ẹjẹ silẹ wà: ninu rẹ ni nwọn si jẹun lori awọn oke: lãrin rẹ ni nwọn huwà ifẹkufẹ.

9 In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.

10 Ninu rẹ ni nwọn ti tu ihòho baba wọn: ninu rẹ ni nwọn ti tẹ́ obinrin ti a yà sapakan nitori aimọ́ rẹ̀ logo.

10 In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.

11 Ẹnikan si ti ṣe ohun irira pẹlu aya aladugbo rẹ̀: ẹlomiran si ti fi ifẹkufẹ bà aya-ọmọ rẹ̀ jẹ́; ẹlomiran ninu rẹ si ti tẹ́ arabinrin rẹ̀ logo, ọmọ baba rẹ̀.

11 And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.

12 Ninu rẹ ni nwọn ti gba ẹbùn lati ta ẹjẹ silẹ: iwọ ti gba ẹdá ati elé, o si ti fi iwọra jère lara awọn aladugbo rẹ, nipa ilọni lọwọ-gbà; o si ti gbagbe mi, ni Oluwa, Ọlọrun wi.

12 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.

13 Kiyesi i, nitorina, mo ti fi ọwọ́ lu ọwọ̀ pọ̀ si ère aiṣõtọ rẹ ti o ti jẹ, ati si ẹjẹ rẹ ti o ti wà lãrin rẹ.

13 Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.

14 Ọkàn rẹ le gbà a, tabi ọwọ́ rẹ lè le, li ọjọ ti emi o ba ọ ṣe? emi Oluwa li o ti sọ ọ, emi o sì ṣe e.

14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.

15 Emi o fọ́n ọ ká sãrin awọn keferi, emi o si tú ọ ká si orilẹ-ède gbogbo, emi o si run ẽri rẹ kuro lara rẹ.

15 And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.

16 A o si sọ ọ di aìlọwọ ninu ara rẹ loju awọn keferi, iwọ o si mọ̀ pe emi li Oluwa.

16 And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

17 Ọ̀rọ Oluwa si tọ̀ mi wá, wipe,

17 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

18 Ọmọ enia, ile Israeli di idarọ si mi: gbogbo wọn jẹ idẹ, ati tánganran, ati irin, ati ojé, lãrin ileru; ani nwọn jẹ idarọ fadaka.

18 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.

19 Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Nitori ti gbogbo nyin di idarọ, kiyesi i, nitorina emi o ko nyin jọ si ãrin Jerusalemu.

19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

20 Gẹgẹ bi nwọn ti ima ko fadaka, ati idẹ, ati irin, ati ojé, ati tánganran jọ si ãrin ileru, lati fin iná si i, ki a lè yọ́ ọ, bẹ̃ni emi o kó nyin ni ibinu mi, ati irúnu mi, emi o si fi nyin sibẹ emi o yọ́ nyin.

20 As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

21 Nitotọ, emi o ko nyin jọ, emi o si fin iná ibinu mi si nyin lara, ẹ o si di yiyọ́ lãrin rẹ̀.

21 Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.

22 Bi a ti iyọ́ fadaka lãrin ileru, bẹ̃li a o yọ́ nyin lãrin rẹ̀; ẹnyin o si mọ̀ pe emi Oluwa li o ti dà irúnu mi si nyin lori.

22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.

23 Ọ̀rọ Oluwa si tọ̀ mi wá, wipe,

23 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

24 Ọmọ enia, sọ fun u, Iwọ ni ilẹ ti a kò gbá mọ́, ti a kò si rọ̀jo si i lori lọjọ ibinu.

24 Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.

25 Ìditẹ awọn wolĩ rẹ̀ wà lãrin rẹ̀, bi kiniun ti nke ramuramu ti nṣọdẹ; nwọn ti jẹ ọkàn run, nwọn ti kó ohun iṣura ati ohun iyebiye; nwọn ti sọ ọ̀pọlọpọ di opó fun u lãrin rẹ̀.

25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.

26 Awọn alufa rẹ̀ ti rú ofin mi, nwọn si fi sọ ohun mimọ́ mi di àilọwọ: nwọn kò fi ìyatọ sãrin ohun mimọ́ ati àilọwọ, bẹ̃ni nwọn kò fi ìyatọ hàn lãrin ohun aimọ́, ati mimọ́, nwọn si ti fi oju wọn pamọ kuro li ọjọ isimi mi, mo si di ẹmi àilọwọ lãrin wọn.

26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

27 Awọn ọmọ-alade ãrin rẹ̀ dabi kõkò ti nṣọdẹ, lati tàjẹ silẹ, lati pa ọkàn run, lati jère aiṣõtọ.

27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.

28 Ati awọn wolĩ rẹ̀ ti fi ẹfun kùn wọn, nwọn nri asan, nwọn si nfọ afọ̀ṣẹ eke si wọn, wipe, Bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi, nigbati o ṣepe Oluwa kò sọ̀rọ.

28 And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

29 Awọn enia ilẹ na, ti lo ìwa-ininilara, nwọn si ja olè, nwọn si ti bi awọn talaka ati alaini ninu: nitõtọ, nwọn ti ni alejò lara lainidi.

29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.

30 Emi si wá ẹnikan lãrin wọn, ti ibá tun odi na mọ, ti ibá duro ni ibiti o ya na niwaju mi fun ilẹ na, ki emi má bà parun: ṣugbọn emi kò ri ẹnikan.

30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

31 Nitorina ni mo ṣe dà ibinu mi si wọn lori; mo ti fi iná ibinu mi run wọn: mo si ti fi ọ̀na wọn gbẹsan lori ara wọn, li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi.

31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
