1 Ọ̀RỌ Oluwa si tọ̀ mi wá, wipe:

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Ọmọ enia, sọtẹlẹ si awọn woli Israeli ti nsọtẹlẹ, ki o si wi fun awọn ti nti ọkàn ara wọn sọtẹlẹ pe, Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ Oluwa;

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

3 Bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi, egbé ni fun awọn aṣiwere woli, ti nwọn ntẹ̀le ẹmi ara wọn, ti wọn kò si ri nkan!

3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

4 Israeli, awọn woli rẹ dabi kọ̀lọkọ̀lọ ni ijù,

4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

5 Ẹnyin kò ti goke lọ si ibi ti o ya, bẹ̃ni ẹ kò si tun odi mọ fun ile Israeli lati duro li oju ogun li ọjọ Oluwa.

5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

6 Nwọn ti ri asan ati àfọṣẹ eke, pe, Oluwa wi: bẹ̃ni Oluwa kò rán wọn, nwọn si ti jẹ ki awọn ẹlomiran ni ireti pe, nwọn o fi idí ọ̀rọ wọn mulẹ.

6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

7 Ẹnyin kò ti ri iran asan, ẹ kò si ti fọ àfọṣẹ eke, ti ẹnyin wipe, Oluwa wi bẹ̃? bẹ̃ni emi kò sọrọ.

7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

8 Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Nitori ẹnyin ti sọ̀rọ asan, ẹnyin si ti ri eke, nitorina, kiyesi i, mo dojukọ nyin, ni Oluwa wi.

8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

9 Ọwọ́ mi yio si wà lori awọn woli, ti nwọn ri asan, ti nwọn si nfọ àfọṣẹ eke; nwọn kì yio si ninu ijọ awọn enia mi, bẹ̃ni a kì yio kọwe wọn sinu iwe ile Israeli; bẹ̃ni nwọn kì yio wọ̀ ilẹ Israeli, ẹnyin o si mọ̀ pe emi li Oluwa.

9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

10 Nitori, ani nitori ti nwọn ti tàn awọn enia mi wipe, Alafia; bẹ̃ni kò si alafia, ọkan si mọ ogiri, si kiyesi, awọn miran si nfi amọ̀ ti a kò pò rẹ́ ẹ.

10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

11 Wi fun awọn ti nfi amọ̀ aipò rẹ́ ẹ, pe, yio ṣubu; òjo yio rọ̀ pupọ; ati Ẹnyin, yinyín nla, o si bọ́; ẹfũfu lile yio si ya a.

11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

12 Kiyesi i, nigbati ogiri na ba wo, a kì yio ha wi fun nyin pe, Rirẹ́ ti ẹnyin rẹ́ ẹ ha dà?

12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

13 Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; emi o tilẹ fi ẹfũfu lile ya a ni irúnu mi; òjo yio si rọ̀ pupọ ni ibinu mi, ati yinyin nla ni irúnu mi lati run u.

13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

14 Bẹ̃ni emi o wo ogiri ti ẹnyin fi amọ̀ aipò rẹ́ lulẹ, emi o si mu u wá ilẹ, tobẹ̃ ti ipilẹ rẹ̀ yio hàn, yio si ṣubu, a o si run nyin li ãrin rẹ̀: ẹnyin o si mọ̀ pe, emi li Oluwa.

14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

15 Bayi li emi o mu ibinu mi ṣẹ lori ogiri na, ati lori awọn ti o fi amọ̀ aipò rẹ ẹ, emi o si wi fun nyin pe, Ogiri na kò si mọ ati awọn ti o ti rẹ́ ẹ;

15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

16 Eyini ni, awọn woli Israeli, ti nwọn sọtẹlẹ niti Jerusalemu, ti nwọn si ri iran alafia fun u, bẹ̃ni alafia kò si, ni Oluwa Ọlọrun wi.

16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

17 Iwọ ọmọ enia, dojukọ awọn ọmọbinrin awọn enia rẹ bẹ̃ gẹgẹ, ti nwọn nsọtẹlẹ lati ọkàn ara wọn wá; ki o si sọtẹlẹ si wọn.

17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

18 Si wipe, Bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi: Egbé ni fun awọn obinrin ti nrán tìmtim si gbogbo ìgbọnwọ, ti nwọn sì ndá gèle si ori olukuluku enia lati ṣọdẹ ọkàn! Ẹnyin o ṣọdẹ ọkàn awọn enia mi bi, ẹnyin o si gbà ọkàn ti o tọ̀ nyin wá là bi?

18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

19 Ẹnyin o ha si bà mi jẹ lãrin awọn enia mi nitori ikunwọ ọkà bàba, ati nitori òkele onjẹ, lati pa ọkàn ti kì ba kú, ati lati gba awọn ọkàn ti kì ba wà lãye là, nipa ṣiṣeke fun awọn enia mi ti ngbọ́ eke nyin?

19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

20 Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi; Kiyesi i, mo dojukọ awọn tìmtim nyin, ti ẹnyin fi nṣọdẹ ọkàn nibẹ lati mu wọn fò, emi o si yà wọn kuro li apá nyin, emi o si jẹ ki awọn ọkàn na lọ, ani awọn ọkàn ti ẹnyin ndọdẹ lati mu fò.

20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

21 Gèle nyin pẹlu li emi o ya, emi o si gba awọn enia mi lọwọ nyin, nwọn kì yio si si lọwọ nyin mọ lati ma dọdẹ wọn; ẹnyin o si mọ̀ pe emi li Oluwa.

21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22 Nitoripe eke li ẹnyin fi mu ọkàn awọn olododo kãnu, awọn ẹniti emi kò mu kãnu, ẹnyin si mu ọwọ́ enia buburu le, ki o má ba pada kuro li ọ̀na buburu rẹ̀ nipa ṣiṣe ileri ìye fun u:

22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

23 Nitorina ẹnyin kì yio ri asan mọ, ẹ kì yio si ma fọ àfọṣẹ, nitoriti emi o gba awọn enia mi kuro li ọwọ́ nyin, ẹnyin o si mọ̀ pe emi li Oluwa.

23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
