Njẹ nisisiyi wa, emi bẹ̀ ọ, fi awọn enia yi bú fun mi; nitoriti nwọn lí agbara jù fun mi; bọya emi o bori, ki awa ki o kọlù wọn, ki emi ki o le lé wọn lọ kuro ni ilẹ yi: nitoriti emi mọ̀ pe ibukún ni fun ẹniti iwọ ba bukún, ifibú si ni ẹniti iwọ ba fibú.

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
