On si wi fun baba rẹ̀ pe, Jẹ ki a ṣe nkan yi fun mi: jọwọ mi jẹ li oṣù meji, ki emi ki o lọ ki emi si sọkalẹ sori òke, ki emi ki o le sọkun nitori ìwa-wundia mi, emi ati awọn ẹgbẹ mi.

And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.
