Awọn ọkunrin Gibeoni si ranṣẹ si Joṣua ni ibudó ni Gilgali, wipe, Má ṣe fà ọwọ́ rẹ sẹhin kuro lọdọ awọn iranṣẹ rẹ; gòke tọ̀ wa wá kánkán, ki o si gbà wa, ki o si ràn wa lọwọ: nitoriti gbogbo awọn ọba Amori ti ngbé ori òke kójọ pọ̀ si wa.

And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
