Nigbana ni ibinu mi yio rú si wọn li ọjọ́ na, emi o si kọ̀ wọn silẹ, emi o si pa oju mi mọ́ kuro lara wọn, a o si jẹ wọn run, ati ibi pupọ̀ ati iyọnu ni yio bá wọn; tobẹ̃ ti nwọn o si wi li ọjọ́ na pe, Kò ha jẹ́ pe nitoriti Ọlọrun wa kò sí lãrin wa ni ibi wọnyi ṣe bá wa?

Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day. Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
