BI ọkunrin kan ba fẹ́ obinrin kan, ti o si gbé e niyawo, yio si ṣe, bi obinrin na kò ba ri ojurere li oju ọkunrin na, nitoriti o ri ohun alebù kan lara rẹ̀: njẹ ki o kọ iwé ikọsilẹ fun obinrin na, ki o fi i lé e lọwọ, ki o si rán a jade kuro ninu ile rẹ̀.

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
