Nigbati gbogbo enia si wá lati gbà Dafidi ni iyanju ki o jẹun nigbati ọjọ si mbẹ, Dafidi si bura wipe, Bẹ̃ni ki Ọlọrun ki o ṣe si mi, ati ju bẹ̃ lọ, bi emi ba tọ onjẹ wò, tabi nkan miran, titi õrun yio fi wọ̀.

And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.
