Gadi si tọ Dafidi wá, o si bi i lere pe, Ki iyàn ọdun meje ki o tọ̀ ọ wá ni ilẹ rẹ bi? tabi ki iwọ ki o ma sá li oṣu mẹta niwaju awọn ọta rẹ, nigbati nwọn o ma le ọ? tabi ki arùn iparun ijọ mẹta ki o wá si ilẹ rẹ? rõ nisisiyi, ki o si mọ̀ èsi ti emi o mu pada tọ̀ ẹniti o rán mi.

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.
