Saulu si wi fun ẹniti o rù ihamọra rẹ̀ pe, Fa ìda rẹ yọ, ki o si fi i gún mi, ki awọn alaikọla wọnyi ki o má bà wá gún mi, ati ki wọn ki o má ba fi mi ṣe ẹlẹya. Ṣugbọn ẹniti o ru ihamọra rẹ̀ ko fẹ ṣe bẹ̃, nitoripe ẹrù ba a gidigidi. Saulu si mu idà na o si fi pa ara rẹ̀.

Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
