Samueli si wi fun Saulu pe, Eṣe ti iwọ fi yọ mi lẹnu lati mu mi wá oke? Saulu si dahun o si wipe, Ipọnju nla ba mi; nitoriti awọn Filistini mba mi jagun, Ọlọrun si kọ̀ mi silẹ, kò si da mi lohùn mọ, nipa ọwọ́ awọn woli, tabi nipa alá; nitorina li emi si ṣe pè ọ, ki iwọ ki ole fi ohun ti emi o ṣe hàn mi.

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
