OLUWA si wi fun Samueli pe, Yio ti pẹ to ti iwọ o fi ma kãnu Saulu, nigbati o jẹ pe, mo ti kọ̀ ọ lati ma jọba lori Israeli? Fi ororo kún iwo rẹ, ki o si lọ, emi o rán ọ tọ̀ Jesse ara Betlehemu: nitoriti emi ti ri ọba kan fun ara mi ninu awọn ọmọ rẹ̀.

And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
