Elkana ọkọ rẹ̀ si wi fun u pe, Ṣe eyi ti o tọ li oju rẹ; duro titi iwọ o fi gba ọmu li ẹnu rẹ̀; ṣugbọn ki Oluwa ki o sa mu ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ ṣẹ. Bẹ̃li obinrin na si joko, o si fi ọmu fun ọmọ rẹ̀ titi o fi gbà a lẹnu rẹ̀.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
