On si wipe, Ni jijowu emi ti njowu fun Oluwa Ọlọrun awọn ọmọ-ogun: nitoriti awọn ọmọ Israeli ti kọ̀ majẹmu rẹ silẹ, nwọn ti wó awọn pẹpẹ rẹ lulẹ, nwọn si ti fi idà pa awọn woli rẹ: ati emi, ani emi nikanṣoṣo li o kù, nwọn si nwá ẹmi mi lati gba a kuro.

And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
