Nitori ti nwọn ti kọ̀ mi silẹ, nwọn si mbọ Astoreti, oriṣa awọn ara Sidoni, ati Kemoṣi, oriṣa awọn ara Moabu, ati Milkomu, oriṣa awọn ọmọ Ammoni, nwọn kò si rin li ọ̀na mi, lati ṣe eyiti o tọ́ li oju mi, ati lati pa aṣẹ mi ati idajọ mi mọ́, gẹgẹ bi Dafidi baba rẹ̀.

Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
