NJẸ awọn ọmọ Reubeni, akọbi Israeli, (nitori on li akọbi; ṣugbọn, bi o ti ṣepe o ba ẹní baba rẹ̀ jẹ, a fi ogun ibi rẹ̀ fun awọn ọmọ Josefu ọmọ Israeli: a kì yio si ka itan-idile na gẹgẹ bi ipò ibi.

Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
