Zechariah 14

¹ The day wey God go sit for judgement don near. And when that day come, Jerusalem go get back everything wey people don take from them, and dem go divide am among the people.

² But he go first bring plenty nations to come attack Jerusalem – dem go rob homes, rape women. Dem go take half of the people go foreign land, but dem no go take the rest of them from the city.

³ Then God go come go out and fight those nations, as he don fight before.

⁴ For that time he go stand on top Mount of Olives, wey dey east of Jerusalem. Then Mount of Olives go dey divided into two from east to west by large valley. Half the mountain go move go north and half of am go south.

⁵ Una go escape through this valley wey divide the mountain into two. Una go run as una ancestor don do when earthquake happen for the time wey Uzziah be king of Judah. The LORD my God go come, and e dey bring all the angels.

⁶ When that time come, cold or ice no go dey again,

⁷ and darkness no go dey again. Daylight go always dey, even for night-time. Na only God know when this go happen.

⁸ When that day come, fresh water go flow from Jerusalem, half of am go flow go dead sea and the remaining half go flow go Mediterranean. E go flow throughout the year, for dry season and wet season.

⁹ Then God go be king over all the earth; everyone go worship him like God and know him by same name.

¹⁰ The whole region go level, from Geba for north take reach Rimmon for South. Jerusalem go tall pass the land wey dey around am; the city go reach from Benjamin gate go Corner gate, where earlier gate dey before, and from tower of Hananel take reach the royal winepresses.

¹² God go bring terrible disease on top those nation wey dey make war against Jerusalem. Their flesh go rotten as dem still dey alive, their eyes and tongue go rotten.

¹³ For that time God go confuse them and make them fear so tey everyone go seize the man wey near am and attack am.

¹⁴ Men of Judah go fight to defend Jerusalem. Dem go take away the wealth of all nations – plenty gold, silver, and cloth.

¹⁵ Terrible disease go fall on top the horses, the mules, the camels, and the donkeys – on top all the animals wey dey for camp of the enemy.

¹⁶ Then the remaining people from the nation wey attack Jerusalem go come go there each year to go worship Almighty God as king, and to go celebrate the Festival of Shelters.

¹⁷ If any nation refuse to go worship Almighty God as king, then rain no go fall for their land.

¹⁸ If Egyptians refuse to celebrate the Festival of Shelter, God go strike them with the same disease wey he go send to every one wey no gree go.

¹⁹ This na punishment wey go fall on top Egypt and all other nations if dem no celebrate the Festival of Shelter.

²⁰ At that time the word “Dedicated to God” go dey on the bells wey horses dey wear.“ The cooking pot wey dey the Temple go dey holy like bowls wey dey for alter.

²¹ Dem go separate all the cooking pot wey dey Jerusalem and Judah to dey worship the Almighty God. People wey dey offer sacrifice go use them to dey boil the meat of the sacrifice. When that time come, no trader go dey for the Temple of Almighty God again.
