Zechariah 10

¹ For spring time, make una ask God for rain. God go send lightning and rain go fall, and he go make plant grow for everybody farm.

² People go dey question their idols and fortune tellers, but the answer dem go get na lie and rubbish. Some dey interpret dreams, but dem just dey lead una people for wrong way; the comfort wey dem give no dey useful. So, the people dey waka around like sheep wey don lost. Dem dey inside trouble because dem no get leader.

3-4 God talk say, I dey vex for those foreigners wey dey rule my people, and I go punish them. People of Judah na my own and I, the LORD Almighty, go take care of them. Dem go be my powerful war horses. Leaders, rulers and commanders wey go rule my people go come from among una.

⁵ People of Judah go get victory like soldier wey match their enemy inside mud for street. Dem go fight because God dey with dem, and dem go defeat their enemy horsemen.

⁶ “I go make people of Judah strong: I go rescue people of Israel. I go have mercy on them and bring them back home. Dem go be like say I never reject them. I be the LORD their God; I go answer their prayers.

⁷ The people of Israel go dey strong like soldier, dem go dey happy like man wey don drink wine. Their descendant go remember this victory and go dey happy because of wetin God don do.

⁸ I go call my people and gather them together. I go safe them and make them plenty as dem be before.

⁹ Though I don scatter them among nations, yet dem go remember me from far places. Dem go survive with their children and come back home together.

¹⁰ I go bring them home from Egypt and Assyria and I go settle them for their own country. I go also settle them for Gilead and Lebanon; and people go full the land.

¹¹ When dem pass through the sea of their trouble, I, the LORD go strike the wave, and the depth of Nile go dry. Proud Assyria go humble, and mighty Egypt go lose her power.

¹² God talk say, I go make my people strong; dem go worship and obey me.”
