Psalms 97
1 LORD, no forget David and all the suffer wey him don suffer.
2 LORD, remember wetin him promise, the vow wey him make to you, the mighty God of Jacob.
3 I no go fit go home or go to bed;
4 I no go rest or sleep,
5 until I provide place for the LORD, until I provide a house for the mighty God of Jacob.
6 We hear about the Covenant Box for Bethlehem, and we find am for field of Jearim.
7 We talk say, Make we go to house of the LORD; make we worship before him throne.
8 LORD, come to the Temple where the Covenant Box dey; the sign of your power, and stay here forever.
9 Make your priest do wetin dey right always; make your people shout for joy!
1 You don make covenant with your servant David; LORD, no reject the king wey you don choose.
1 You don make honest promise to David the promise wey you no go ever take back: I go make one of your sons king, and him go rule after you.
1 If your son dey honest to my covenant and to the command I give them, their son, go also become king for all time to come.
1 The LORD don choose Zion; he wan make am him house.
1 This na place where I go live forever; na where I wan rule be this.
1 I go make Zion rich with all hin need; I go make the poor belleful with food.
1 I go bless all the priest for all dem do, and hin people go sing and shout for joy.
1 For here I go make one of David descendant great king; for here I go keep the rule of the king wey I choose.
1 I go cover him enemy with shame, but him kingdom go prosper and flourish.
