Psalms 90

¹ O LORD, na you don always be our home.

² Before you create the hill or bring the world to life, you don be everlasting God, and you go be God forever.

³ You tell us say make we return to wetin we be before; you con change us back to dust.

⁴ A thousand years be like one day to you; dem be like yesterday, wey don go already. Like short hour for night

⁵ You carry us away like flood: we no dey last long pass dream. We be like weed wey dey grow for morning,

⁶ Wey dey grow and burst to flower, then dry up and die later for evening.

⁷ Your anger don destroy us; we dey shake with fear because of your terrible anger.

⁸ You put our sin for your front, our secret sin for where you fit see am.

⁹ Your anger don cut our life short; e dey fade away like whisper.

¹⁰ Seventy years na all wey we get - eighty years, if we dey strong; still all wey dem dey bring na trouble and sorrow; life go soon end, and we don go be that.

¹¹ Who don feel the full power of your anger? Who know the kind fear wey your terrible anger fit bring?

¹² Teach us how short our life be, so that we go fit dey wise.

¹³ How much long your anger go last? Have pity on your servant, O LORD

¹⁴ Fill us every morning with your love, so we go dey happy all our life.

¹⁵ Now, Give us plenty happiness reach the sadness wey you give us during the years wey we dey suffer.

¹⁶ Make you allow us wey be your servant see your mighty work; make our descendant see your glorious might.

¹⁷ Lord our God, make your blessing dey with us. Give us success in everything wey we do!
