Psalms 27
1 God na my light and my salvation; I no go fear anybody. God dey protect me from danger; I no go fear.
2 When evil people wan attack me and try kill me, dem go stumble and fall.
3 Even if army surround me, I no go fear; even if enemy attack me; I go still trust God.
4 I don ask God for one thing; na only one thing I want: to live for God house all my life, to dey wonder for there for him goodness, and to dey ask for him guidance.
5 For time wey I dey for trouble he go give me house; him go keep me safe inside him Temple and make me dey safe on top high rock.
6 So I go succeed over my enemy wey dey around me. I go offer sacrifice for him Temple with shout of joy; I go sing, I go praise the LORD.
7 God, hear me when I call you! Make you dey merciful and answer me!
8 When you say, Come worship me, I answer say, I go come LORD;
9 No hide yourself from me; No vex for me; No turn away from your servant. Na you be my help; no leave me, no abandon me, O God, my savior.
10 My papa and mama fit don abandon me, but God go take care of me.
11 God, teach me wetin you want make I do, and lead me for safe way, because I get plenty enemy.
12 No abandon me give my enemy wey dey attack me with lie and threat.
13 I know say I go live to see the LORD goodness for this present life.
14 Make you trust the LORD. Get faith, and no loss hope. Trust in the LORD.
