Psalms 21

¹ O LORD, the king dey happy because you don give am strength; he dey rejoice because you give him victory.

² You don give him wetin him heart want; you don answer wetin him ask.

³ You come meet am with great blessing and you put crown wey be gold on top him head.

⁴ He been ask for life, and you give am, long and lasting life.

⁵ Him glory dey great because of your help; you don give him fame and majesty.

⁶ Your blessing dey with him forever and your presence dey fill him with joy.

⁷ The king dey trust the LORD Almighty; and because say God dey always love, he go always dey safe.

⁸ The king go catch all him enemy; he go catch everyone wey hate him.

⁹ He go destroy them like terrible fire when he show. The LORD go swallow them in him anger, and fire go destroy them.

¹⁰ Nobody wey dey after them go survive; the king go kill all of them.

¹¹ Dem dey make their plan against him, but dem no go succeed.

¹² He go shoot him arrow at them and him go make dem turn and run.

¹³ God, we praise you for your great strength; we go sing and praise your power.
