Psalms 19

¹ Heavens dey show God glory: the sky dey announce wetin he don do.

² Everyday dey announce am give the next day; every night dey repeat am for the next.

³ dem no use any word, dem no dey make any sound;

⁴ yet their message dey go out to the world and dem dey hear am for end of the earth. God make house for sun in the sky,

⁵ E dey commot for morning like bridegroom wey dey happy, like runner wey dey hungry to run race.

⁶ E dey start for one side of the sky and go across to the other. Nothing fit hide for him heat.

⁷ The law of the LORD dey perfect, e dey give strength. The command of the LORD dey trustworthy, e dey give wisdom to those wey no get am.

⁸ The law of the LORD dey correct, and anybody wey obey am go dey happy. The command of the LORD dey right and e dey give understanding to mind.

⁹ Respect for the LORD dey good; e go continue forever. The judgement of the LORD dey right; dem dey always dey good.

¹⁰ Dem dey useful pass gold wey fine; e sweet pass the purest honey.

¹¹ Dem dey give me your servant knowledge, I dey get reward for obeying them.

¹² Nobody fit see him own mistake; God, deliver me from fault wey dey hide.

¹³ Keep me safe from sin wey I do by my own will too; no allow them rule over me. Then I go dey perfect and free from evil of sin.

¹⁴ Make my word and wetin I think dey acceptable to you, O LORD, you be my refuge and redeemer
