Proverbs 7

¹ My pikin, remember wetin I talk, and make you no forget wetin I tell you say make you do.

² Do wetin I talk, and you go live. Make you dey careful to dey follow my teaching like you suppose dey protect your eyes.

³ Make you keep my teaching with you all the time, and write am for your heart.

⁴ Treat wisdom as your sister, and treat understanding like your close friend.

⁵ Na dem go keep you away from other man wife, na dem go keep you from women with sweet words.

⁷ And I see plenty young men wey no get experience, but I con notice one foolish person in particular.

¹⁴ “I don make my offering today and I get the meat from sacrifices.

¹⁶ I don cover my bed with sheets of colored linen from Egypt.

¹⁷ I don put perfume on top am with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
