1 Gentle answer dey make anger quiet, but harsh one dey make am grow.
2 When wise people dey talk, dem dey increase person knowledge, but na nonsense stupid people dey talk.
3 God dey see everything wey dey happen for everywhere; he dey watch us, whether we dey do good or evil.
4 Kind words dey bring life, but wicked words dey spoil person spirit.
5 Na stupid thing to ignore wetin your papa teach you; e dey wise to accept him correction.
6 Righteous people dey keep their wealth, but wicked people dey lose their wealth when hard time don come.
7 Na people wey wise dey spread knowledge, no be fools.
8 God dey happy when he hear the prayer of good people, but he dey hate the offerings wey wicked people dey bring to him.
9 God hate ways of evil people, but he love those wey dey do wetin dey right.
10 If you do wetin dey wrong, he go punish you plenty time; you go die if you no gree make dem correct you.
11 Even world of the dead no fit keep God from knowing wetin dey there; how people go fit hide wetin dem dey think from God?
12 Proud people no dey like make dem correct them; dem no dey ask for advice from those wey wise.
13 People dey smile, when dem dey happy, but when dem dey sad, dem dey look weak.
14 Wise people wan learn, but stupid people dey want more nonsense.
