Numbers 7

¹ For the day wey Moses finish to dey set up Tent of God presence, he anoint and dedicate the Tent and all the equipment, and the altar and equipment.

² Then the tribe chiefs wey be leaders for tribes of Israel, the same men wey dey in charge of counting people,

³ bring their offerings to God: six wagons and twelve oxen, one wagon for every two leaders and one ox for each leader. After dem present them,

⁴ God tell Moses say,

⁵ “Accept the gifts make una use am do the work wey una wan do inside Tent; give them to Levites according to the work dem suppose do.”

⁶ Naso Moses give the wagons and oxen to Levites.

⁷ He give two wagons and four oxen to Gershonites, and four wagons and eight oxen to Merarites.

⁸ Make dem dey do all their work under direction of Ithamar, son of Aaron.

⁹ But Moses no give wagon or oxen to Koharthites, because na their shoulder dem suppose dey carry the holy things wey dem dey take care.

¹⁰ The leaders come bring offerings to celebrate altar dedication. When dem ready to present their gifts for altar,

¹¹ God tell Moses say, “Tell them say, make one leader dey present him gift for the altar dedication per day, for twelve days”

⁸³ Na for this order dem present their offering: for first day, Nahshon son of Amminadab, wey be Judah tribe leader bring him gift; for second day, Nethanel son of Zuar wey be Issachar tribe leader bring him gift; for third day, Eliab son of Helon wey be Zebulun tribe leader bring him gift; for fourth day, Elizur son of Shedeur wey be Reuben tribe leader bring him gift; for fifth day, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai wey be Simeon tribe leader bring him gift; for sixth day, Eliasaph son of Deuel wey be Gad tribe leader bring him gift; for seventh day, Elishama son of Ammihud wey be Ephraim tribe leader bring him gift; for eighth day, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur wey be Manasseh tribe leader bring him gift; for ninth day, Abidan son of Gideoni wey be Benjamin tribe leader bring him gift; for tenth day, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai wey be Dan tribe leader bring him gift; for eleventh day, Pagiel son of Ochran wey be Asher tribe leader bring him gift; for twelfth day, Ahira son of Enan wey be Naphtali tribe leader bring him gift. The offerings wey dem bring na same thing: one silver bowl wey be 1.5 kilograms and one silver basin wey be 800 grams, na by official standard, both of them get full flour wey dem mix with oil for grain offering; one gold dish wey be 110 grams, and na incense full am; one young bull, one ram, and a one-year old lamb, for burnt offering; one goat for sin offering; and two bulls, five rams, five goats, and five one-year-old lambs for fellowship offering.

⁸⁸ Na the total offering wey the twelve leaders bring for altar dedication follow so: twelve silver bowls and twelve silver basins wey be 27.6 kilogram in total; twelve gold dishes wey be 1.32 kilogram in total, full with incense; twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve one-year-old lambs, together with grain offering wey go with am, for burnt offerings; twelve goats for sin offering; twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty goats, sixty one-year-old lambs, for fellowship offering.

⁸⁹ When Moses go inside Tent to follow God talk, he hear God dey follow him talk on top the Covenant Box cover, between the two creatures wey get wings.
