Numbers 6

¹ God command Moses

² make he give instruction wey follow to people of Israel. Any man or woman wey make special vow to become Nazirite and dedicate themselves to God

³ no go dey drink wine and beer. Dem no go drink any kind drink wey dem make from grape or eat any grape or raisin.

⁴ As long as dem be Nazirites, make dem no eat anything wey come from grapevine, not even grape seed or skin.

⁵ As long as dem dey under Nazirite vow, make dem no cut their hair or shave. Dem dey under the vow for full time say dem don dedicate themselves to God, and dem go allow their hair grow.

⁷ Their hair na sign of their dedication to God, so make dem no make themselves unclean by going near dead body, not even the one wey be dead body of their father, mother, brother, or sister.

⁸ As long as dem be Nazirites, dem don dedicate themselves to God fully.

⁹ If the hair of Nazirite become unclean because say he dey beside person wey suddenly die, make dem wait for seven days, and then make dem shave their hair; and naso dem go become clean.

¹⁰ On the eight day, make dem bring two doves or two pigeons come meet the priest for entrance of Tabernacle Tent.

¹¹ The priest go offer one for sin offering, and the other for burnt offering, wey dem go use perform ritual of purification for them because dem don use their body touch dead body. On the same day, dem go dedicate their hair again

¹² and dedicate their time to God again as Nazirites. The previous period of time no dey count, because dem don make their hair unclean. Dem go bring a one-year old lamb for repayment offering.

¹³ When Nazirites don complete their vows, dem go perform this ritual. Dem go come go to entrance of the Tent

¹⁴ and present three animals wey no get error to God; a one-year-old male lamb for burnt offering, a one-year-old female lamb for sin offering, and a ram for fellowship offering.

¹⁵ Dem go also offer basket of bread wey no get yeast; thick loaves wey dem make with flour wey dem mix with oil and biscuit wey dem brush with oil, with corn and wine offering wey dem don tell them before.

¹⁶ The priest go present all of them to God, and offer sin offering and burnt offering.

¹⁷ He go sacrifice the ram to God as fellowship offering, and offer am with the basket of bread; he go also present the offering of corn and wine.

¹⁸ For entrance of the Tent, the Nazirites go shave off him hair and put am for fire where dem dey burn fellowship offering.

¹⁹ Then, when dem don boil the ram shoulder, the priest go take am and put am together with one thick loaf of bread and one biscuit from the basket, for hands of the Nazirite.

²⁰ The priest go come present am as special gift to God; dem be holy offering for the priest, make dem add am join the breast and leg of ram wey belong to priest by law. After that, the Nazirites fit drink wine.

²¹ Na the regulations for Nazirites be these; but if a Nazirites promise offering wey pass wetin him vow dey require to give, make dem fulfil the exact promise wey dem make.

²² God command Moses

²³ make he tell Aaron and him sons, make dem dey use the words wey follow to dey bless people of Israel:

²⁴ God go bless una and take care of una;

²⁵ God go dey kind and gracious to una;

²⁶ God go look on una with favor and give una peace.

²⁷ God come say, “If dem pronounce my name as blessing on people of Israel, I go bless them.”
