1 God tell Moses:

3 Call the twelve tribes of Israel together and tell the leader of each tribe make he write him name on the walking stick wey he dey carry for symbol of him authority. Make sure say na Aaron name dey for the one from Levi tribe, then collect all the sticks.
4 Place the stick inside the tent for front of Covenant Box wey I dey appear to you.
5 I go come choose a man to be my priest, and him stick go rise. After that happen, I no go need to hear any more complain about you.
6 Moses tell the people wetin God don command, and dem give him the walking sticks from the twelve tribal leaders, with Aaron own from Levi tribe.
7 Moses come put all the stick inside Tent for front of Covenant Box.
8 The next day when Moses enter the Tent, flowers and almonds don already start to dey grow for Aaron stick.
9 Moses bring the twelve stick out of the Tent and show am to the people. Each of the leader find their own and take am.
10 But God tell Moses say, Put Aaron stick back! Make e stay near the Covenant Box as warning to anyone wey fit think say make he rebel. If these people no stop to dey complain about me, I go destroy them.
11 Moses do wetin God command.
12 The Israelites come cry out to Moses say, E go finish for us
13 and we go enter trouble, if we even near the holy tent!
