Leviticus 9

¹ The day after dem don finish ordination, Moses call Aaron and him sons and Israel leaders.

² He tell Aaron say, “Take a young bull and a ram wey no get error and offer them to God, the bull na for sin offering and the ram na for burnt offering.

³ He come tell people of Israel make dem take a male goat for sin offering, a one-year old calf, and a one-year old lamb wey no get error for burnt offering,

⁴ and a bull and ram for fellowship offering. Make dem sacrifice am to God with grain wey dem don mix with oil. Dem go do am because God go appear to them today.”

⁵ Dem bring everything wey Moses don command come front of the Tent, and dem gather for there to worship God.

⁶ Moses say, “God don command all of una to do am, so that glorious light of him presence fit appear to una.”

⁷ He come tell Aaron say, “Go to altar make you offer sin and burnt offering wey go take away your sins and the sins of the people. Present the offering so that e go take away sins of the people, just as God don command.

⁸ Aaron come go to altar and kill the young bull wey be for him own sin offering.

⁹ Him son bring the blood, and he put him finger inside am, put some of am on projection wey dey for corners of the altar, and pour the rest of am for base of the altar.

¹⁰ He burn the fat, kidney, and best part of the liver on top altar, just as God don command Moses.

¹¹ But he burn meat and skin outside camp.

¹² He kill the animal wey be for him own burnt offering. Him sons bring the blood for him, and he throw am for four sides of the altar.

¹³ Dem give him the head and other pieces of the animal, and he burn them on top altar.

¹⁴ He wash the internal organs and back legs and burn them on the altar on top rest of the burnt offering.

¹⁵ After that, he present the people offering. He take the goat wey he go offer for people sins, kill am, and offer am, as he don do with him own sin offering.

¹⁶ Him bring animal for burnt offering too, and offer am according to rule.

¹⁷ He present grain offering and take full hand flour and burn am on top altar with the daily burnt offering.

¹⁸ He kill the bull and the ram for fellowship offering for people. Him sons bring him the blood, and he throw am for four sides of the altar.

¹⁹ Aaron put fat part of the bull and ram

²⁰ on top the breast of the animal and carry am to altar. He burn the fat on top altar

²¹ and present the breast and right back leg as special gift to God for priests, as Moses don command.

²² When Aaron don finish all the sacrifices, he raise him hand over the people and bless them, and come down.

²³ Moses and Aaron come enter Tabernacle Tent, and when dem come out, dem bless the people, and glorious light of God presence come show to all the people.

²⁴ Suddenly God send fire, and e consume the burnt offering and the fat wey dey on top altar. When the people see am, dem shout and bow their face down to ground.
