Leviticus 27

¹ God tell Moses say,

² “Tell Israelites: Una fit promise to give person to God as servant. Na the priest go set price for that person.

³ The price for man from 20 to 60 years old na 50 shekels of silver. (Make u dey sure say na official standard measure una use for the silver.)

⁴ The price for a woman wey be 20-60 years na 30 shekels.

⁵ The price for young man from 5 to 20 years na 20 shekels. For a woman of same age, the price na 10 shekels.

⁶ The price for a boy from one month take reach five years old na 5 shekels. For a girl, the price na 3 shekels.

⁷ The price for a man wey don reach 60 years or older na 15 shekels. The price for woman na 10 shekels.

⁸ If anyone dey too poor to pay the price, make una bring that person to the priest. Na the priest go decide how much the person fit pay.

⁹ Una fit promise to give animal to God. If na clean animal-the one wey dey acceptable as offering to God- then the animal una bring go become holy.

¹⁰ Make una no use another animal replace am. Make una no exchange a good animal for a bad one or a bad animal for good one. If una try change animal, both of the animals go become holy, and dem go belong to God.

¹¹ The animal wey una promise fit be one wey no dey acceptable for offering to God. If una promise one of this kind unclean animal, make una bring am to the priest.

¹² The priest go decide a price for that animal. E no mean anything, if the animal dey good or bad. If the priest decide a price, na the price for the animal be that.

¹³ If una wan buy the animal back, then una go add twenty percent join the price.

¹⁴ If una dedicate una house as holy to God, na the priest go decide the price. E no matter if the house dey good or bad. If the priest decide a price, na the price be that.

¹⁵ But if una wan get the house back, una go add twenty percent join the price. Then una go get the house back.

¹⁶ Una fit dedicate part of una land to God. The value of the land go depend on how much seed dem fit plant on the land. E go be like 50 shekel of silver for each 20 kilograms of barley seed.

¹⁷ If na during the Year of Jubilee he dedicate the land, na full price wey the priest talk e go be.

¹⁸ But if una give una land after Jubilee, the priest go decide the exact price. He must count the number of years to the next year of Jubilee and use the number decide the price.

¹⁹ If una wan buy the land back, una go add twenty percent join that price. Then una go get the land back.

²⁰ If una no buy the land back and dem sell am to another person, una no fit get the land back again.

²¹ If una no buy the land back by the year of Jubilee, the land go remain holy to God, e go be priest own forever. Dem go treat am like any other thing wey dem give to God completely.

²² If person dedicate a land wey him don buy to God,

²³ the priest go calculate the value according to number of years e go take reach next Year of Jubilee, and the person must pay the price that same day; the money na God own.

²⁴ For Year of Jubilee, make dem return the land back to the owner or to him descendants.

²⁵ All prices go be according to official standard.

²⁶ Una fit give cattle and sheep to God as special gift. But if na firstborn, e don already be God own, so, una no fit give am as special gift.

²⁷ If na firstborn of unclean animal, make una buy back the animal. The priest go decide the price of the animal, and una go add twenty percent join that price. If una no buy that anima back, the priest go sell the animal for any price wey him like.

²⁸ E get one kind special gift wey people dey give to God. Na him get am, and una no fit buy am back or sell am. Na God get the gift. That kind gift na people, animals, and lands from family property.

²⁹ If na person the gift be, dem no fit buy that person back. Make dem kill that person.

³⁰ Na God get ten percent of all crops, whether na grain or fruit.

³¹ If a man wan buy any of am back, make he pay the standard price plus additional twenty percent.

³² Na God get one out of every ten house animal. When una dey count the animals, every tenth one na God own.

³³ Make the owner no worry whether the animal wey he choose na bad or good one, or change the animal with another animal. If this kind thing happen, the two animals go be God own. He no fit buy am back.

³⁴ Na these be the commands wey God give Moses on top Mount Sinai for the Israelites.
