Leviticus 12
1 God give Moses the rules wey follow
2 for people of Israel. For seven days after a woman don give birth to a son, she still dey unclean, like she dey during her monthly period.
3 On the eight day, make una circumcise the child.
4 Then e go be 33 more days before she dey clean from her blood loss; make she no touch anything wey dey holy or enter the holy Tent until her purification time don complete.
5 For fourteen days after a woman don born a daughter, she no dey clean, as she be during her monthly period. Then e go be 66 more days before she dey clean of her blood loss.
6 When her purification time don complete, whether for a son or daughter, she go bring a one-year-old lamb for burnt offering and a pigeon or dove for sin offering to the priest for entrance of Tabernacle Tent.
7 The priest go present her offering to God and perform ritual wey go take away her impurity, and she go become clean. Na wetin the woman go do after she don born be this.
8 If the woman no fit get lamb, she go bring two doves or two pigeons, one for burnt offering and the other for sin offering, and the priest go perform ritual wey go take away her impurity, and she go become clean.
